We are arrived at the rental, and we could get into the building, but could not get into the storage

We had been messaging with the manager earlier in the day, and he gave us the door code to the building and the locker storage. We arrived at the property and entered the building, and then the locker storage did not work. We tried, but could not get in touch with the manager at that point and then they told us our booking was cancelled. We were stranded in Porto with no place to stay and on the streets with our luggage I. Hot hot temperatures. We missed a tour that we had booked and paid for. And then we ended up staying in a very expensive hotel, because we are now afraid to book anything on VRBO. It was a horrible experience. I would like to make a formal complaint. And I will make a complaint with the Portugal tourism board.
