No value for the money

We had booked this property for 28 days. Compared to other properties in the area we do not believe we got value for the amount we paid. First of all we were charged in Euros which has never been my experience in Mexico. So we ended up paying approx 25% more. Is that even legal? There was a strong sewer gas smell when we moved in. The manager responded quickly however it took 2 visits to finally install traps on the 2 sinks. There is no hot water in the bathroom or kitchen sink. No weekly cleaning service offered which would be in the best interest of the owners to keep the place clean. A mop (no bucket)and dust pan were the only cleaning supplies available. The AC in the bedroom worked well however the front porch is bathed in sun all day so the living area with only a fan was very hot. We only had hard plastic chairs to sit on or a foam sofa that has lost its density making it difficult and uncomfortable to sit on. One kitchen cupboard hinge was installed backwards so it only opened 1/4 of the way rendering it useless. The kitchen table is very unsanitary. It has a glass top over a paper covered plastic palette that was old, torn and dirty. There was no safe provided for valuables. Fresh water delivery only once a week. Noise from dogs barking continuously. There is lots of potential for this property as it is spacious and in a good location. It simply needs more attention to cleaning and detail. El cobro lo hace la aplicación, no yo. Desconozco por qué Vrbo tiene como moneda el euro en mi propiedad, yo no gestiono los cobros. SI hay agua caliente en la regadera, solo en el lavabo no. El garrafón de agua es grande y a la mayoría de los huéspedes les alcanza. Todos los detalles que me hiciste saber, fueron atendidos de manera inmediata, por parte mía y de mi equipo, tuvimos muchas atenciones contigo. Lo importante para mí es que estuvieras cómoda e hice todo lo posible por que así fuera. No tengo anunciada limpieza durante tu estancia, pero podías contratarla. La mesa no está rota, ni sucia. Es una mesa de resina poxica hecha con revistas viejas (la hice yo el año pasado). Siento mucho que tuvieras esa experiencia, para nosotros fue un gusto recibirlos y trataremos de mejorar en todo lo que mencionas.
