A pleasant, cosy stay

A very pleasant and cosy stay. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and the kitchen is well-equipped. The location is great too with plenty of scenic walks nearby and the Lakes are only a short drive away.

We really enjoyed our week here. It's in a quiet location a few minutes walk from the sea, and with a few local shops/cafe nearby, but otherwise you would need a cafe since the bus routes are not useful. Drivable to lovely places in the lake district and other sights.The house itself was really cosy, attractively furnished and with a well equipped kitchen and a good shower. The main room was a lovely sun trap and there was some nice space to sit outside. The owner was helpful and although there was a mistake on the listing, she rectified it swiftly and drove over with the missing item when we asked.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for a family stay

Comfortable home for six adults, excellent location, helpful host. All in all a great week exploring the area and southern lakes.

Great location for local walks and nature reserves

The coach house is located in the centre of Silverdale, just minutes walk from the bay or the shops. It's next to the pub, but it was never noisy. The cottage has everything you need for a great holiday and its proximity to the local nature reserves is a real bonus.

Half Term Break

Absolutely gorgeous stay. The host Corinne was so helpful and responsive. The house was cosy, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Right next to the beach - the village was adorable - everyone was chatty, warm and friendly - we didn’t want to leave! Surrounding area is nothing short of spectacular. Strongly recommend.

Silverdale Cottage

We loved this property from the minute we opened the door. It has everything we needed for a warm and comfortable weekend and had plenty of space for our family to join us for a night. It's quirky layout really lended itself to sharing with. family
