We enjoyed this home for a few days during our stay in Florence. The location was excellent with a lovely coffee shop and many restaurants within walking distance. We were also very close to downtown and the river. Overall very positive experience.
The apartment was well equipped and very spacious (apart from the cramped kitchen). The interior design was very nice and colourful.
It is a little bit of a walk to get to some of the main attractions in the city, however, the local area was nice as well.
The owner was very responsive and friendly.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. There was a slight musty smell that stayed throughout even when we opened the windows and the layout was a little unusual with the main living quarter below ground with little or no natural light so I think. However as we did not spend too much time there, except in the evening, we were not too bothered and as I said, in the overall scheme of things we had a very enjoyable stay and liked the neighbourhood and handy parking garage that was included
I stayed in Florence for a week in May and had a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment. It was close to the riverside within an easy bus ride to downtown Florence. But it was just far enough away from the tourist area to be quiet and peaceful all day and night.
Nimoe was a great host and was so helpful in communicating with me when the power went out. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had a lovely patio outside to enjoy my morning tea. There was also a TV downstairs so I was able to watch the Eurovision final. Thanks for a great stay!
This is such a lovely property and the host was great to work with. There was a little glitch right before we got there but handled beautifully and the next day when the water heater had a little problem, it was serviced the same day.
The apartment has great air conditioning, even with the temps in the 90s our entire stay in Florence. It's within 10 - 20 minutes walking distance from everything you want to see in Florence and if you have a rented car, as we did, the garage was great and the location easy to use to get outside the city and see the countryside (which we did).
I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I'd love to be here in a little cooler weather because the area outside was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy my coffee and soak up Italy. It was a lucky find for my first VRBO out of the US.
The only thing I might tweak was the lack of instruction when we checked out. I wasn't sure what to do with the garbage but tried otherwise to leave the home as we found it. Everything else was self explanatory and

Oltrarno and into the city
The apartment is spacious and would comfortably s!eep six with an incredible shower downstairs to add to the en suite bathroom and shower upstairs. The kitchen is small but ample and well appointed. The outside patio is a big bonus for meals or lounging in the quiet residential area. The location is excellent as an alternative to the tourist bustle of the city. There are several bus routes nearby with access to all parts of Florence. If we were staying in Florence again we would certainly choose to stay on this southern side of the river.
The agent for the property required advance receipt of passport images and advance payment of city tax, ostensibly to speed up the process, but evidently to save having to greet guests on arrival. The manager responded to texts but declined to discuss a problem over the phone on the grounds she was in conference and because she had other properties to look after. There was zero information about local services, locations, or appliances in the apartment. We never did learn how to ignite the gas or switch on the electric hob. We had to find youtube videos to work the coffee machine and learn which size of pods it required (not supplied). There was not even information on internet password. The text response from the manager was look on the back of the box.
Despite these minor frustrations we managed to quickly find our way about and enjoyed a wonderful week in beautiful Firenze.
