Great apartment in Florence

I stayed six nights and really enjoyed my stay here. The communication with owner and his relatives who do the check in was excellent. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well presented. The shower and hot water was good plus having a washing machine and dishwasher was very handy. It is centrally located near Piazza Santa Croce and has restaurants, bars and a supermarket all within walking distance. It's a very safe area. The river Arno is also just a short walk away. I will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable apartment in the heart of Florence

The apartment in Santa Croce is in a great location for walking to see the main sites of Florence. The check in process was seamless as we were met by the host’s relative and were shown around the apartment, as well as orientated to our surrounds with a city map. The apartment itself was a good size for two people, although the kitchen could only fit one person at a time. The hot water is controlled by a gas heater and there was a strong smell of gas whenever hot water was used in the kitchen sink, or when in the shower. The kitchen does not have an oven, but is otherwise well equipped. Large bedroom and living/dining room. Despite our stay coinciding with Christmas, the apartment was well insulated from outside noise. Would recommend for anyone staying in Florence!

Lovely apartment in fabulous location

The host was incredibly welcoming and gracious, recommended excellent local restaurants and took the time to show us how everything worked in the apartment. The kitchen is very small, but perfectly adequate for having breakfast at home and making simple meals -- we ate out for most lunches and dinners, as there were numerous excellent restaurants nearby. Location can't be beat: near everything, but with a neighborhood-y feeling rather than being overrun with tourists. Highly recommend.

Terrific place

Great place, host and location. Only minor know is when there is someone on floor above you can hear every step, but that pretty typical of these places. I highly recommend as you won't regret.
