A Tuscan treasure!

My only regret about my stay here is that it was too short. The host was magnificent, and the property was a dream come true.Across the street are a rose garden and a Japanese garden, and the street itself leads right to an opening in the wall and just a short dogleg to a bridge into the city center.

A special place to stay

Private, quiet, close to town, and plenty of reasons to stay here. Host was courteous and quick to respond. The property is amazing for a tourist like myself- right in the heart of Florence. 5 min walk from the heart of the city. Highly recommend.

This little property was just perfect for our 6 day stay in Florence. You could walk to anywhere in the city and surrounded by restaurants and cafes… Rocco was always helpful…..The property was like a park in the city…..would definitely recommend to stay here Not big but perfect for 2 people.

Under the stars in Florence

I loved my stay here. Rocco’s place is SO beautiful and so quiet, outside of the noise of the city yet I was able to get everywhere I wanted on foot. It’s close to everything. The inside is so clean and all new. It’s just beautiful inside and out and Rocco was so helpful and easy to communicate with. Amazing stay and I can’t wait to come back.

Oasis in the heart of Florence

Rocco’s place is a true gem! Perfect location and a quiet and peaceful spot, especially after battling tourist crowds all day. The apartment has everything you need — and the bed was so comfy! Rocco was also an amazing host, helping us to make dinner reservations and book taxis. Hope to return here soon!

Words can't describe how awesome this place is! It is mere minutes from everything. When you type the code and the gate opens you feel you're stepping into the countryside, walk down a dirt lane to this idylic setting from which you can see the tower!- The bed is comfy, pillows fluffy, the kitchen small but 100% workable (we made a meal for 4 to eat in the garden).- There is a microwave - yay!- The bathroom is quite small but 100% fine - the shower folds out (very cool) but might be tight for a larger human.Suggestions: - Ice trays please! :-)- Maybe 2 more chairs for the outside table if one has friends over (our son and friend came to visit).Also - Bring bug spray!! There's a lot of mozzies all over Italy.Having lunch with family under the vines in the garden was magical.

Short but sweet!

Lovely location just minutes from downtown...literally. The property was clean and well maintained. It had an interesting shower with plenty of hot water. It was tight accommodations for two people, but we managed. The walk from the gate to the property was short and on a rocky drive path, somewhat difficult to navigate with luggage but perfect on foot. The kitchen was adequate and we utilized the hotplate, fridge and sink. It was great to have wine glasses to share an evening glass if wine. We loved having the open ceiling and only closed them once when we wanted to sleep in. A definite great find!

Cozy and quiet!

Rocco's place was incredible start to finish. Behind the heavy metal gates, the countryside path to the listing was nice to walk in at night and refreshing to walk in the morning. The listing is as described, and communication was great. During our stay, Rocco went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and that everything worked as expected (heat, window shades, etc.). If we're lucky enough to return to Florence in the future, Rocco's place will be on my list to stay at again!

Florence Oasis

Florence Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We loved the location! Very close to central Florence. The property is lovely and the hosts were very kind too. The washer wasn’t working so they arranged to have our laundry done for us. There are some ants within the unit and some of the kitchen utensils need replacing. Overall, a good spot.
