Two one bedroom apartments rented together with a lovely private garden and private pool (9.5m x 4.8m).

You will feel truly relaxed in the quiet garden which is given privacy by a huge rock characteristic of the surrounding villages. The rock which is covered in wild flowers offers a unique feel to the garden.

The two simply decorated apartments have been renovated to a nice standard, in a traditional Tuscan style. The accommodation, is perfect for both couples and small groups of family or friends who want an extra bit of privacy whilst holidaying together.

The first apartment sleeps 2 - 4 people in a double bed and a sofa bed and is on the ground floor. It has an open plan kitchen/ living and dining room with double sofa bed. Coming off this space is the tiled bathroom and double bedroom.

The second larger apartment is set over two floors, with the kitchen/ dining/ living room on the bottom floor. There is a double sofa bed (sleeps 2) in the living room. The bathroom and bedroom which sleeps 3 are on the 1st floor. This apartment also has a spacious terrace that looks onto the rock and pool, a great spot for an evening drink or afternoon daydreaming.

The pool has blue/ black tiles which means it is a few degrees warmer than other swimming pools. The mature garden has olive trees and rosemary bushes, and there is lots of outdoor furniture.

There is an outhouse with dryer and two washing machine for the guests to use.

The property is in the village of Villetta which has one of the best views in Tuscany. The owner of the apartment also owns the restaurant/ pizzeria a few minutes walk away and is a great host. In the village there is also a bar and a couple of shops. 10 minutes walk away there is an excellent wild swimming spot. The apartments are set just above the local church, the road to the house is narrow.

There are many interesting villages and towns within 10 minutes drive of the apartments and lots of restaurants in the vicinity. The large market town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is 15 minutes drive, Barga is 30 minutes drive, Bagni Di Lucca is 40 minutes, Lucca 50 minutes, Pisa 1.5 hours, Florence 2 hours, Cinque Terre 2.5 hours. In short, this is a great place to visit if you want to enjoy the beautiful rural Tuscan countryside but also want to explore the famous sites of northern Tuscany.
