Amenities: Electric central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and espresso machine. 2 x Smart TV, WiFi, Amazon Alexa. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and stairgate available on request. Allocated parking for 1 car across the road. Front patio with furniture and water feature. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.8 miles, pub 0.1 mile. Note: Due to the age of the property, there are some low ceilings and steps throughout. Note: The bunk bed is shorter than average, measuring at 1.75m rather than the standard 1.9m.
Region: A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
Town: Ironbridge Gorge is recognised around the world as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Today, the area is far from industrial, and nature has reclaimed most of the former industrial sites, leaving a unique and beautiful wooded valley. The gorge is now a network of trails, bridleways, and rural lanes, and the charming settlement is famed for being home to the world's first iron-made bridge, built between 1777 and 1779.
