The property manager was so helpful, giving advice about where to eat and generally being really friendly. At one stage we locked ourselves out of the house and she came right over to help us out. Her service was so welcoming. The house was spotless, warm and comfortable and offered great space. I would highly recommend.

Holiday home rating
Spacious, clean house located in a beautiful area.
The communication with the manager of the house could be better. We informed her that we had arrived safely, and finally we also let her know that we had left on time on our departure date and where we had deposited the key. Unfortunately, we never received an answer or reaction to our messages.
A second small comment is that the weeds on the driveway and around the house could use some tackling, and that the windows on the outside could use a good cleaning.

Hi Marianne
Thank you for your review of Bell View Holiday Home, Sheep's Head, Co. Cork.
We appreciate your business and comments and will pass these on to our on site team and owner.
We hope to welcome you again to Trident Holiday Homes.
This is a pretty, clean, well-stocked house on the lovely Sheep's Head peninsula. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the TV has Netflix.
It's only a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, two restaurants, and a general store. The general store only takes cash.
We had a wonderful time walking many miles in beautiful, remote surroundings. The only caution I would give is that there is very little taxi service and only one bus, so plan to bring a car if you want to experience the whole peninsula.
If you are looking for an escape to rural Ireland, without crowds, tour buses, lines or noise, I highly recommend this home in Kilcrohane.

Super house in a super location but please don't tell anyone - we want to go back
The house is very well located and equipped. It was clean and ready when we arrived. Sheeps Head is one of the unspoilt parts of West Cork. It stands out for its beauty and tranquility. A gem in the West Cork area on that has become very popular in the past 10 years.
Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, excellent wifi , Saorview TV channels, good showers and a large garden. The house is ideal for a family with children or a group of adults.
It suited us that there is a 30 minute drive to supermarkets in Bantry. You may want to shop before you get to Bell View especially if you have children. However there are local shops, restaurants and good pubs for everyday needs.
One small item is missing - a cable to connect the DVD player to the TV but then I am being fussy.
