The 3,700 square ft. Galena RowHouse is a beautiful vacation rental home that sleeps 10, complete with a full kitchen. It's ONE BLOCK from Galena's Main Street and shopping district. With private off street parking; experience town at a casual pace. Walk anywhere in Galena... any day of the week... any time of the year. The home is near Galena's many walking paths leading out of town as well.
Our vacation home has 3 floors and is one of the most authentic places to stay in Galena. It was built in1846 of locally made Galena brick and limestone and will complete your historical Galena experience. All of the bedrooms are located on the second and third floors, with the third floor showcasing a private retreat with attached full bath.
In the early 1900s, the house was redecorated in mission style, and has been recently restored to include a modern kitchen and bathrooms. The house overlooks the Fever River and has a charming side porch to seat guests.

This place proved to be an excellent lodging for a family gathering of six--four adults and two teenagers. Great location on a fairly quiet street in downtown Galena, enabling walking to many places of interest. Off-street parking for two vehicles was nice. The full kitchen was well-furnished with all the basics, making it easy to prepare some of our meals at the house. The numerous bedrooms on floors 2 and 3 had comfortable beds and gave our group plenty of space. We would welcome an occasion to stay there again.

Our family of six plus a set of grandparents spent NYE at the Rowhouse. It was an amazing time - the location is perfect, walkable to everything, even in the winter. The house is really neat, feels like you're in a different era just like the rest of Galena. We would definitely stay there again. The house sleeps 10 easily and the view overlooking the river/train/town was awesome. Thank you!
