About this property
Stylish self-contained converted stables
The Stables offers a modern, relaxing environment in a peaceful location on a 15 acre smallholding. This two-bedroom converted stable block is an ideal base for exploring Sussex and includes a decking area, countryside views, underfloor heating, double-height open-plan living area and a wood burning stove. A great location for Glyndebourne, the South Downs National Park and the Ashdown Forest. The Stables has its own parking area and is easily accessible, only a few miles from the A22.
The space
The Stables is a converted stable block on a small farm. It has two bedrooms, a full bathroom with bath and shower and an airy double-height living, dining and kitchen area. The main living area boasts polished concrete flooring with underfloor heating, the bedrooms are carpeted. Large glazed patio doors open onto a decking area ideal for outside dining with a beautiful outlook over farmland and great for sunsets.
Guest access
The Stables has dedicated parking for three to four cars. Blackboys village (and the famous fourteenth century Blackboys Inn) is just a few minutes away, local towns Uckfield and Heathfield are within 10 minutes and Brighton, Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells are all within a half hour drive. We're close to the South Downs National Park and the Ashdown Forest. The famous opera house at Glyndebourne is about 20 minutes by car.
Other things to note
There are lots of great walks nearby and the Wealdway - a footpath that runs for 83 miles from Gravesend, Kent on the Thames estuary, to Eastbourne, 3 km north of Beachy Head path - is accessible from the farm.
