Thank you for your lovely review. I am glad you found Springfield a great place to relax and explore the surrounding area. ‘Excellent accommodation’ is praise indeed. I look forward to your return.
Fiona met us at the property she was extremely attentive and thoughtful. She made th bungalow very welcoming adding extra supplies like a box of chocolate wine and nosh! We got a new minibus service which takes you 13 miles wherever you want. We also found local taxis very helpful. Absolutely lovely bungalow quiet and nice neighbours. Thank you Fiona.
We stayed here for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fiona is an excellent host and her house is really beautiful and well equipped. There were fresh flowers from her garden to greet us. We wanted to do walking, castles and gardens and this is a great base for all that. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am so pleased you had a lovely stay and found you had all you needed. I would welcome you back anytime.
Fiona was super responsive before, during and after our stay in her perfectly equipped house. Lovely walks in the fields around and over to local pubs. She setup a welcome package and special decorations to help us celebrate our anniversary. Fantastic bed and shower and bath. Luxury everywhere. Cannot say enough good things about this rental.
Need a car to get around but grocery stores do deliver we were told. We went to the beach, castles, forest walks, field walks, cinema in Uckfield (very good state-of-the art digital screen) and just relaxed. Very good restaurant for gluten-free meals at picture house restaurant in Uckfield.
Kitchen is fully equipped and easy to cook in. Did not use heat so cannot comment on this. Beautiful sunsets in the garden as house is on a hill so can see the countryside. Lots of windows so very bright everywhere.

Très très bonne location. Idéal pour se reposer, il ne manque rien c’est impeccable. Grande propreté. Vue sur le jardin superbe. Y séjourner plus longtemps que deux jours est une bonne idée.

About the host
Hosted by Fiona
Hi we are a family of four. My 24 year old recently graduated from uni, he loved every moment, he is now working and happy in life and visits here sometimes. My 18 year old still lives at home. I run a holiday let of a two bedroom separate property. As a host I take great pride in offering lovely, comfortable, clean accommodation, I try and think of everything a guest would like and maybe need on their travels. Therefore I know how much work goes into being a host and with that in mind we will have great respect for any property we stay in. We really enjoy traveling, meeting people, visiting new places, walking, cycling, swimming, eating out etc and I enjoy art, painting, drumming, gardening, petit point (embroidery) although not much time for that at the moment. We are vegetarian and try to respect and look after our environment as much as we can. We are in no way judgmental in other people’s views or choices though, this is just the way we like to live.
Why they chose this property
We love the area and have lived in East Sussex for over 24 years. There is so much to do and see, we never get board with the area and its attractions. The property (holiday let) is close enough to our house for me to help if needed but is nice because it is a dedicated property, private and with a separate drive way etc.
What makes this property unique
This property is a superb location for exploring Sussex and Kent or traveling to London. The games room is an ideal place for your children’s entertainment. The patios and garden are lovely place to relax after a day of exploring. The bed are high quality and no expense has been spared for your enjoyment and comfort. Your patios are very private. The grass area between the property and our house is shared but we hardly ever use it as we have a patio of our own. You are very welcome to use the grass area any time.
