Beautiful setting. Great common areas. TV streaming services provided. Small bedroom and bath, double bed.
Janice and Brandon were wonderful hosts! We spent the weekend in the Mendocino area for an anniversary, and they were so thoughtful and considerate with our accommodations. The property was quaint and beautiful, and we would love to visit here again. Thank you Janice for your warmth and hospitality!
Thank you, Bob & Jan for your stay and taking such good care of my home. I hope your travels may bring you back here to stay in the future, as you are always welcome.
All the best,
Janice
Our host, Jan, is extremely considerate, friendly, thoughtful and helpful. She helped me with a birthday event by having fresh cut flowers present upon arrival - exceptional service! That made our stay quite special! The location is perfect for quick access to highway 1, yet quiet and secluded. Five minutes to the heart of Mendocino. We would stay again if returning to the area.
The home was very spacious and light, and quiet.
Janice was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend

This place is 5-10 minutes south of Mendocino and is in a very quiet wooded place. The house is roomy and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and spacious. Everything is clean. The host Janice is very responsive. We will see if it is available the next time we go to the North Coast. Highly recommend.

Some of the most delightful guests I have had the pleasure of hosting. They were so respectful and communicative, which made working together such a pleasure. I am hoping they might want to come stay another time. They were certainly a wonderful couple who I would recommend hosting anytime.
We were thrilled having such an attractive, well-equipped kitchen in a very private, quiet wooded setting. The host was extremely accommodating and helpful. Beautiful views of trees from the double living room with soaring ceilings, an easy-to-use gas fireplace, and comfortable furniture.
They area is so lush and lovely. It was very peaceful and quiet. Janice was a terrific hostess, she left coffee, beverages, snacks, fresh fruit!! I’ve stayed in many many VRBO‘s and that was a first!! Greatly appreciated as it somewhat off the beaten path.
We were disappointed the hot tub was not working.
The WiFi service was not great, we had difficulty communicating with Janice.
She does have a landline however.
We had a great time and enjoyed some wonderful sites!

Thank you for taking good care of my home. I have never had the hot tub available to guests as there are not service people up in this remote area to have it worked on. In the future if we may be able to offer it it will be listed in our description.
Wonderful to wake up to birdsong and take a short walk to the stunning coastline. Janice was a very thoughtful, attentive host.

Beautiful, comfortable home away from home in quiet spot surrounded by trees
We had a wonderful mini vacation. Janis was so generous and even provided some veggies for my raw food diet since I couldn't eat her yummy cookies and muffins that she made. She is friendly and warm and went out of her way to meet our needs. It made our vacation just that much more special. Thank you Janis!

Diamond in the Rough
Serenity is a diamond that is close to being perfectly polished by an outstanding owner/hostess. The house is a wonderful example of some of the 1970-era homes that were way ahead of their time, i.e. open-concept. It is aptly named as the surroundings offered a wonderful escape from the noise and business of the road! We enjoyed fresh greens from the garden and loved having the gas range/stove. Janice could not have been more helpful and gracious - we arrived to home-made cookies and muffiins, plus a frige full of helpful items. The home is very convenient to nearby state parks and towns. We definitely plan to return any time we are in the area and have no qualms recommending it to family and friends!.

How absolutely wonderful to have such gracious guests! Thomas and Catherine not only took impeccable care of my home, but went above and beyond in cleaning and making my job of preparing for the next guests so much easier. The most rewarding were the talks and hugs that were so warm and genuine... I now consider them part of my extended family. I only wish they could have stayed longer to get to know them better. Any host that is graced by these lovely people will find them to be real jewels. I do hope to keep in touch and have them back in my home in the future.
