Two bedroom, two bathroom apartment condo, right across from the Marina and waterfront promenade, where there is a local & daily market with fresh fish, seafood, vegetables and fruit. A variety of restaurants, bars and nightly events, great location to socialize with family and friends, watch the boats and listen to live jazz music

This condo is fully equipped with 2 balconies overlooking the mountains and islands/beaches

Transport 20 meters, 5 minutes from the center, in a quiet area

The islands and beaches of Culatra, Armona and Farol can be reached in 10 minutes by regular ferries that leave hourly from the end of the promenade along the water front.
There are several beaches along the coast.
Olhao is a major port and largest fishing port in the Algarve. Full of character with Moorish style house which makes Olhao unique. Pleasant paved promenade with cool gardens.
Close to other beaches and golf courses and shopping
Faro capital of the Algarve is on 9 klms away, can be accessed by car or public transit or taxi
There is a great selection of restaurants, coffee shops & bars to enjoy!

Nearby everything important in Olhao, this appartement gives you everything you need. You are in the home of somebody else, but that means that all facilities are there. Clean, well equiped and plenty of room. And all of this around the corner from all the restaurants and ferries.

Fantastic Apartment

This was our second stay here and I’m pleased to say it’s probably better than our previous stay. There is copious good quality bedding and towels, the apartment was again spotlessly clean and exceptionally well equipped. There is everything you would have in your own kitchen and utility room. It’s comfortable and everything ‘works’ Great showers as well. Olhao is on the doorstep, just about, so no transport issues. Ann, the owner is quick to reply if you have any questions so there is nothing to cause any concerns. This remains the best apartment we have stayed in in Olhao.

Mostly this was excellent: good location for restaurants and shops, very comfortable spacious apartment. However we really needed a guide to the unit: for example, we did not have the wifi password. We did not discover that the outside door could be opened with a special code until a neighbour informed us. This (along with a lot of other information) should have been on a handout: I provide one for my house in Ottawa. Secondly, some of the information was misleading: several of the photos were taken from the roof of the unit and implied one could see the sea and hills from the unit. However, the roof was effectively inaccessible.

Très bonnes vacances.

Très joli appartement tout équipé, proche de tout à pied. Juste dommage que la climatisation soit tombée en panne dans la pièce principale mais ça arrive malheureusement. Merci beaucoup nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances en famille.

Problem addressed

A few days after checking in we awoke one morning to a slight smell of like rotten eggs, our concern was a maybe gas leak, we contacted the owner Ann and by the time we arrived back in the afternoon, gas company officials had been on site had everything scoped out. They insured us the smell was due to low tide wind direction and nothing to worry about, the rest of our stay was quite pleasant and uneventful. Thank you Ann for the expedited way in how you handled our concern. Would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay there again

Brilliant location in Wonderful Olhao

The flat is very spacious and well equipped with excellent kitchen facilities everything you could possibly need . The bathrooms are good too and nicely done. Air con is pretty essential in the summer months and was a joy to use on some nights. Communication with the host was easy and we had a brilliant time there and will definitely go back. One suggestion would be to get some new cotton sheets and pillow cases and maybe replace some of the towels. Otherwise totally wonderful experience. Thank you Anne!

Excellent property and excellent location

The apartment was furnished and fitted to a very high standard. The kitchen equipment was extensive and again of high quality. Location to Olhao is perfect, slightly back from the main road so it is quiet but less than a 2 minute, slow, walk. There is nothing to fault and everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Perfectly located. Modern and fully equipped.

Cheek by jowl with the old town this apartment gives all the modern amenities. With English-language tv and cheap fast broadband it was spacious and comfortable. We stayed for 4 weeks and really enjoyed it. Anna and her family are excellent hosts. Thank you for all your kindness.
