Weekend break

We chose here for the closeness of Winterton on Sea beach . This was a break with our dog. She loved it. The place has everything ( and more ) that you need . Very thoughtful touches . Loved the full size bath sheets - a nice touch . The welcome pack was very nice . Loved the field next door . Such a quiet place to stay Don’t hesitate to book . We wished we had booked for longer & I'm sure we will be back .

Very relaxing break

Fantastic location for touring the Norfolk broads. Accommodation was clean with everything we needed. The enclosed garden was great for our dog as was the adjoining paddock which also doubled up as a golf chipping range. The garden has different seating areas which we took full advantage of as the weather was really hot. Great hosts and will have no hesitation in returning and recommending.

Dog friendly and safe garden. Treats for the dogs, toys, and bedding. Would highly recommend a stay at Robins Rest.

Weekend break for the dog

Absolutely loved our stay at Robins Rest. Everything you need is supplied. Loved the blankets and towels for the dog especially, even though we bought our own they were still very much needed. Lovely relaxing in the garden and summerhouse when we had a storm Apart from visiting winterton on the Friday before check in and driving out to get fish and chips after check in, we just relaxed at home. My only complaint, which is very small! We couldn't look down the garden from the table on decking as the plants are too tall!

A little gem

I booked this barn conversion for my daughter and me for a week away. The accommodation was lovely very well equipped and clean. The garden was large with a summerhouse and plenty of garden furniture and cushions together with a decking area sheltered from breeze and a bbq area at the rear. I would recommend this property unreservedly. There was also a welcome gift on arrival and a pint of milk provided in fridge. Linda Bates

A little peace and paradise

Great little place to stay, immaculate inside and out! Our dogs loved the garden and the paddock beyond. Its quite small but perfectly formed, decorated to a high standard and you really had everything at your fingertips, the sunbeds and garden room a big plus. Lovely little welcome pack included too! Only reason we dropped a 4 in the "comfort" was because the duvet cover on the bed had seen better days, it was very bobbly on the inside and uncomfortable to sleep under...so we resolved it by turning it over. But it never spoilt our enjoyment of Robins nest. Thanks so much for sharing this property. Recommend the Chinese takeway Royal China in Mashan which is a nice village close by!

Short Norfolk Break

On arrival at Robin's Rest on Monday afternoon, we were immediately impressed with the large, well cared-for garden. Plenty of shade made it perfect for our dog to sit out in during the heat of the day. There were also a lot of outdoor seating options, including a small decking area with table and chairs, sun-loungers on the lawn, and benches in the barbecue area and next to the summerhouse. Inside, we were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and snacks. The lounge/kitchen was small but well-equipped, and had all we needed during our stay. Bathroom was clean and modern, with a good shower and plenty of towels provided, and the bedroom very comfortable. We also took advantage of the adjoining field to stretch our dog's legs in the early morning and evening, and take in the lovely views across the countryside. A lovely location, being only a short distance to the beach at either Winterton or Hemsby. We had a very enjoyable stay, and would happily come here again.

A lovely chilled break

Robin’s Rest is an amazing place to stay if you want a peaceful, chilled break. We having been coming to Norfolk for many years and normally we stay in the lovely Winterton On Sea, especially for the dunes and beach, but we saw this lovely place, just a 5 minute drive from Winterton On Sea, at a great price and thought we would give it a go, especially after reading all the positive reviews. We were not disappointed. It has everything you need for a short break and well equipped for self-catering. Everything was spotlessly clean and the complimentary goodies the owners left for us were very welcomed. The garden exceeded our expectations. It was lovely to have a summer house to sit in when the weather was not being kind and when we did have the sun, the sunbeds were the best to relax and chill. We took our little dog with us and it was lovely to be able to let him roam the garden without worrying if he could get out as it is fully enclosed. Also there is a paddock behind the property where we could walk him too. All in all Robin’s Rest is at the top of our list for places to stay in that area of Norfolk and we will be back to stay again in the near future.

Holiday Comment

We were VERY impressed with the extra effort made by the owners in providing items such as an umbrella,9 boot rack, games and information about the local area. Facilities for us and our dog were first class. We have already told our family and friends to check out the cottage. The two cottages would be ideal for a family holiday.
