Great property with view an amazing view! We really enjoyed our stay over Xmas. The property is 600m up so a little colder than sea level, but the view is worth it. The kitchen was really well equipped, the house was great to stay in. We paid for the pool to be heated which took a few days to get up to temperature. As another reviewer says stay on the tarmac roads to the house as there are some very steep roads. Access to the walking in the middle / north of the island was very easy. Would recommend!

Beautiful hilltop villa with views

We enjoyed our stay very much! Beautiful home with views of the ocean. Great pool and deck. Well-equipped kitchen. Garry was a great host with lots of great recommendations. Don’t hesitate to book!

Amazing home with a great view.

House and management were top notch. Arrived with food and wine on counter and also had gifts dropped off halfway through stay… house was beautiful and had all the amenities needed for the week, just bring food. Only downside was the bathroom showers flooded the bathrooms.. besides that we had a great experience. Thank you Jose and management.

Great Villa

Lovely property. Great position overlooking the ocean.The pool is a good size & depth (not for children), but rather cool even when heated - (in the winter months anyway.)Needs a few more basic kitchen bits,especially if you intend to cook. i.e chopping boards, sharp knives, plastic bowls etc.Definitely need a car or you will need to use taxis each day to get around, and go to the supermarket.You can walk down the hill to the village (approx 30 mins) where there are a few bars and a small grocer and a pharmacy .However it will take approximately 1.5 hours to walk back up slowly. The hill is very steep.

Wonderful views and a heated pool

We had a wonderful,calm stay at this beautiful house. Everything was very clean. You have a perfect view over the Atlantic from every room. The kitchen is very well equiped - best kitchen I ever had in a vacation home. Thank you! The pool is heated and can therefore also be used on rainy, colder days. The air conditioning can be used to cool the house down or heat it during "colder" winter mornings/evenings. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Levada Nova for a short hike. Be aware that the house is pretty high up in the mountains (600 m) and may occassionally be covered in clouds. On arrivall do not trust Google Maps for finding the house. :) It may lead you via some very steep, narrow roads. Do not use the tiny side roads and stay on the main one. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Mooi huis, mooie locatie en uitleg via video was goed. Wel veel blaffende honden. Ook ‘s nachts wat erg storend was. Fijn dat een oogje in het zeil werd gehouden door de buurman.

Top gepflegter Zustand der gesamten Unterkunft und ruhig gelegen. Hervorragende Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Er wartet an der Unterkunft und hat uns empfangen. Vorab sendete er uns Hinweise bzgl. Der Straßen, welche gefährlich sind und nicht befahren werden dürfen. Klimaanlage in allen Räumen.Die Küche ist ein Traum, ebenso der Grillplatz.Der Pool ist sehr sauber und lädt bei einem tollen Ausblick auf das Dorf und Meer zum verweilen ein.Rundum sehr zu empfehlen.

TOP-Urlaub

Alles war absolut klasse! Wir können das Ferienhaus nur weiter empfehlen. Lediglich eine Badezimmertür klemmte und der Fön funktionierte nicht richtig. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört. Besonders hervorzuheben war die überaus gut ausgestattete Küche und die große Kühl-Gefrirerkombination. Der Check-In- und Check-out-Vorgang mit Lisa war sehr, sehr gut, Dank ihrer Flexibilität bei unserer verspäteten Ankunft. Vielen Dank! Die kürzeste Anfahrt durch Googel-Map geführt, ist recht steil. Da sollte man Autofahren können! Es gibt eine weniger steile Anfahrtsmöglichkeit über die Serpentinen Strasse!

Tolles Ferienhaus mit super Ausblick!

Es war ein grandioser Aufenthalt. Die Größe und Ausstattung ist wirklich hochwertig. Bei frischeren Temperaturen unbedingt die Pool-Heizung buchen. Ein wunderbarer Abschluss nach täglich abwechslungsreichen Wandertouren auf Madeira. Nur zu empfehlen! Wer Dunkelheit zum schlafen braucht, sollte sich jedoch eine Augenmaske mitnehmen, da es keine Verdunkelung gibt.

Tolle Aussicht

Die Beschreibung des Objektes ist gut und es gibt einen schönen Ausblick aufs Meer.Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist modern und neuwertig. Den überdachten Grill und den Pool haben wir täglich genutzt. Die Lage des Hauses war auf 600 Höhenmetern sportlich für unser kleines Auto. Die letzten 20 Meter zum Haus daher eine Herausforderung aufgrund der extremen Steigung.

Vakantie Madeira!

Het is fijn verblijven in het huis van Americo. Het is groot en netjes en licht, er zijn geen verduisterende gordijnen in de slaapkamers. Wij hebben geslapen met een slaapmasker en dat ging goed. Het zwembad was heerlijk, en lekker warm. Let wel dat je hiervoor moet bijbetalen. Dat staat niet in de advertentie. Verder geen problemen. De buurman verzorgd het zwembad. Er is veel privacy, het huis staat op het einde van een straat. Je hebt een huurauto nodig maar dat is het meest handige om heel het eiland te verkennen. We hadden een fijne vakantie in Madeira!
