Nerja is a coastal town at the foot of the Almijara mountains with a long tradition of fishing and agriculture. The fishermen still pull their nets ashore on Burriana beach and fresh produce can still be bought from the doorways of local people´s houses. The weekly market (Tuesdays) attracts many traders and shoppers from all over the region and the town centre has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere with many lovely shops and tapas bars & restaurants.

Very Well Equipped
The apartment is in a great location and is very well equipped. I particularly liked that there were a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella provided (which saved quite a few euros on sunbeds) - and the beach is only 5 minutes away so not a huge distance to carry them.
The email giving the details of how to get into the apartment should include a sentence which specifically says 'Click here for a photograph of the key safe'. I did not realise that the words 'Key Safe' included a hyperlink to a photo so did not know which was the safe for the apartment. Fortunately the office was open so I was able to speak to someone but a few words adding into your email would have made it easier for me and would have stopped me bothering you :-)
