The ground floor apartment consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a small living room with a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. Priceless view of the Grand Canal. We loved our stay in this quaint apartment right on the Grand Canal. We were met at the canal by Gabriele who escorted us to the property. He made sure we were settled in and gave us a map, information about the area and recommendations for local restaurants. We had read reviews that this area was loud at night and we spent five very quiet and peaceful nights here. It was lovely to hear the sound of the water outside early in the morning and see the gondoliers outside our window getting ready for the day. Highly recommend this property!

The location of the apartment was perfect! Not in the tourist part of town so you got a good feel for the local flair. Quiet area. The only negative was that we were right on the canal at a gondola pier where there were busy moments

On arrival i was pleasantly suprised by the view from the bedroom. The main reason for me booking this accommodation was the location in a quiet neighbourhood and having the unobstructed view of the canals from my room. I felt paying the extra compared to other apartments, would be worth while. The first morning i woke up to what felt like people inside the kitchen area/dining room. I opened the window from the room and was greeted by a man leaning against the window ledge. I was woekn up to a bridge being built right in front of the window. There were around 50 men, large boats with cranes and scaffolding now around the property. The dining room window was now blocked by scaffolding. For the remainer of my stay i listened to a construction site outside my door and the view from my window now completely blocked by a bridge that had been erected. The noise dails wasnt pleasant to be in the room, and the works continued into the night. I was no longer able to have the window shutters open, due to no longer feeling like i had privacy. And opening the front door to scafolding and workers sitting outside of it. It became a construction site. Had i of known about this, i would of chosen to spend the money else where. I tried to make contact with the company and had yet to receive a response (over 2 days) and still wait for one. On my last morning, whilst packing and getting ready to leave, i was shocked to have someone walk into the apartment around 9.45 am. Disappointed.

Heel erg leuk appartement. Aan het water, je ziet de gondels liggen. Ook kun je meteen een gondel naar de overkant nemen, zodat je binnen 15 min bij het San Marco plein bent. Het is niet geschikt voor mensen boven de 1.85m. De badkamer (douche ) is zeer klein en laag
