Nice place with a lovely view but takes too long to get to a main road 20minuets on small bumpy country roads in a larger than normal car was not a great experience there where lots to see and do close by Carrick on Shannon was not far away neither was Lough Key which has lots to do for the whole family but mostly only during the holiday season.

We had a great time. The Old School House was an excellent choice for us. It was pet friendly with lots of outdoor space for our 2 dogs to explore. It was clean and very comfortable with all we could need to be a great home from home. Would recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a rural, quiet, spacious getaway.

Quaint Rural Schoolhouse
This is a quaint rural schoolhouse built in 1891. The owner had done a beautiful job maintaining the period building with all the updated conveniences inside, including wifi and satellite tv. It offers beautiful views of the countryside in lovely Leitrim.
