Stable cottage was tastefully converted from an old stable block on the farm dating from the 1800's. It is all on one level and has lovely views of the surrounding paddocks with horses grazing and the estuary.
It is accessible to M2 mobility standards, (typically suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that may need to use a wheelchair some of the time).
On entering the cottage you will find an open plan kitchen, dining and seating area (with double sofa bed) which has a log burner to keep the cottage cosy in the cooler days of autumn and winter. Patio doors lead to the garden with views over the menage and paddocks to the sea.
Following the sloping hall-way to the other end of the cottage, a peaceful twin bedroom with en-suite shower room can be found and a larger family bedroom, which has a king size bed and a single bed plus en-suite shower room, is situated at the very end of the building. In total there are five bed spaces with an additional double sofa bed in the living area.
There is one travel cot and one high chair in the cottage.
The garden has two tables, eight chairs and a BBQ to enjoy those summer days (do bring your own BBQ tools as there are none supplied). We now sell a BBQ lighting pack, with a bag of charcoal, some wax firelighters and matches for an additional cost. These must be ordered and paid for at the time of booking. They cannot be booked on arrival.
There is also a fire pit on the decking, we sell large bags of kiln dried logs for the fire pit for an additional cost. These must be booked and paid for before arrival.
Hot tubs:
Outside, there is a four person log fired hot tub set in the garden of Stable Cottage, optional to book and available for an additional cost:
We supply the hot tub freshly cleaned and filled with water, we also supply logs and a firebrick for guests to light and heat the hot tub.
If you have added the hot tub to your booking, you will be provided with two documents with your confirmation email. These relate to the safe use of the hot tub and the details of how to light/heat the hot tub. These documents form part of your contract with Lee Wick Farm Cottages & Glamping. It is important that you read these. If having read these documents you decide you no longer wish to add the hot tub to your booking, please advise us by email and you will be refunded for the cost of the hot tub. Otherwise it will be deemed accepted that you have fully read and understood these documents along with these terms and conditions of booking.
The log fired hot tubs need to be pre-booked and paid for a minimum of 48 hours before arrival, they cannot be booked on the day of arrival.
The cottages are dog friendly for up to two dogs. There is an additional fee per dog, per stay.
