On The Beach is superb modern detached house situated right on the seafront in the pretty fishing village of Balintore. This stunning architect-designed house will appeal to families and groups wishing to enjoy the ultimate beach holiday. The main living room is on the first floor. It has its own balcony, maximizing the stunning panoramic views across the sea and along the sandy beach. There are four generously proportioned bedrooms (three with en-suite facilities, and a separate family bathroom). The spacious master bedroom also has a dressing room. The downstairs kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with all modern appliances and the dining room is separate. Balintore and the adjoining seaside village of Shandwick are completely unspoilt and provide idyllic seaside holidays without the crowds. Dolphins, seals, porpoises and a wide variety of seabirds are seen in the locality. The village has a local store, pub, café and restaurant, all within a short walk from the property. Further facilities are available in the nearby town of Tain.

We had a wonderful week in „On the beach“ with our two dogs. The Location is perfect for day trips in the Highlands as well as for relaxing at the Beach. We didn‘t miss anything and wished to stay longer at this place.

On the Beach is truly special.

On the Beach is truly special. The view from the upstairs lounge is mesmerising. Well thought out House for families with loads of space for everyone. To allow dogs is another plus, our 2 dogs were on the beach first thing with our grandchildren, simple pleasures but Shandwick beach is perfect, the noise from the surf calms the soul. Utter bliss. My 12 year old granddaughter loves up north as she calls it, we visit every year and can’t wait for next year.
