We arrived home on Monday after spending a truly fabulous week at this beautiful cottage and just wanted to turn around and go straight back.Mike & Dawn are wonderful hosts and genuinely lovely people who have done a beautiful job creating the perfect holiday cottage. The cottage is very well equipped ,very comfortable and a super welcome pack awaits , your dog is also made very welcome with treats , towel and soft blanket. The local area is perfect with woodlands and a river on the doorstep , the locals are very friendly and the Black Bull inn is dog friendly (as are most places) and serves delicious food. This whole area is one of natural beauty and there are some fantastic beaches ie Barafundle Bay (our favourite) , New Quay and Penbrey Country Park.We will definitely be visiting again and would definitely recommend holidaying in this perfect cottage , one of the best holidays we have ever had .

Accommodation excellent, hosts amazing.

Accommodation excellent, hosts amazing. Not much in the village, pub closed during week, nearest shop 10 minute drive.Expected the garden to be at back of property, which it wasn't.. It was shared with owners who live next door, which meant you had to leave the property to access it.Note for people with dogs.Owners ask that pets are not left in the property unattended. Might be an issue for some people if they want to pop to pub for a meal or drink without pets.Overall we had a lovely time during our visit..

We stayed a full week in pretty relentless rain yet came away thoroughly impressed by the accommodation and the welcome received from the hosts. The photos almost do not do the property justice, you really need to stay to properly appreciate it all. Lovely history to it, everything you need for your stay. Top quality heating system and faultless WiFi. Nice location, easy walk to the pub and a reasonably short drive to the shops. Our dogs had bowls towels etc provided. Lovely welcome hamper for us including prosecco and, as they knew it was my big birthday, even a card. Truly one of the very best places we've ever stayed at, so pretty and full of character. Highly recommend it

Would definitely come back!

We had such a lovely stay! The space was incredibly cosy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Some interesting, historic features too! Mike and Dawn were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. From thoughtful little touches (wine and biscuits for us and treats, towels, blankets for the pup) to great local recommendations, their hospitality really stood out.The only thing to note is that access to the garden is through the front of the property, meaning you have to step onto the street and go round to get there. It wasn’t a huge issue for us, and the road isn’t exactly busy but something to keep in mind. Overall, a fantastic stay in a charming place – we’d happily return!

Host cacelled my booking

Host cancelled my booking the evening before my stay, we were travelling to attend my Fathers Funeral. They offered no apology, offered me alternative dates with no explanation as to why they didnt have the dates id booked for. If you want to be assured that your trip is secure, dont boom with this host.
