Had a wonderful stay at the tower. Nicely remodelled, big bedrooms and bathrooms, lots of storage, very clean, comfortable and amazing views of Florence. The apartment has every convenience including a washer and dryer which I always find helpful when on a long trip. A very thoughful and substantial welcome basket was also provided and very much appreciated :) Love the location in the Oltrano - quieter than in central Florence but everything is just a short walk across the Ponte Vecchio, Ahh Florence - can't wait to come back and I would not hesitate to stay here again - thank you for everything, Monika and team :)
We loved staying here- it was beyond our expectations! The view is so incredible I sat at the desk and looked out over all of Florence. There are views from every room. The historic building is so charming- people were out front taking pictures as it was part of their tour! We really enjoyed staying in the neighborhood, it is in the heart of the tourist district, just off the Ponte Vecchio, with easy access to all the main tourist sites. We walked everywhere during our 5 days stay. There are tons of shops and restaurants within blocks with views of the river, and on charming little alleys. We used the elevator, as there were many steps to the top. This is a very unique and special property and I highly recommend it. The place was very clean, then beds comfortable and check in was easy. Don't miss staying in this place- it is a wonder!
The apartment is in an excellent location and in very good condition. It was very interesting to be staying in the top floor of a 1000 year old tower. Incredible views, comfy beds, nice showers. Self check-in was easy. However, with just a little effort it could be a 5-star experience. Things to improve: Next to no supplies (only one kitchen trash bag, 1/2 inch of dish soap left, no sponge, no toaster, minimal toilet paper). No TV, wifi doesn’t reach 2nd bedroom, and nothing on the walls. We were tasked on checkout to carry our trash down the elevator and a few blocks to some town dumpsters, which should be a task for the cleaning team. There was no binder/book with info about the lodging and the area that is typically in a rental.
