Log Cottage on Blue Lake-Fall has arrived!!

Our log cottage on Blue Lake is in a beautiful area of Northwest Michigan. If you like peace and quiet this is the lake front cottage for you. The cottage sits on 100' of frontage and is located on the East side of the lake so we get great sunsets. The fall colors are beautiful. Almost every room in the cottage has a great view of the lake. Listen to the loons calling through out the day and watch the sunset in the evening. There is wildlife galore. Blue Lake is an all sports lake connected by two other lakes. Little Blue to the South and North Blue to the North. Blue Lake is a springfed lake and it's deepest point is 85'. We have many different species of fish so bring the fishing gear and boat. We do have a 40' dock and also a 12' rowboat for your use. There are also ATV and snowmobile trails just down the road from the cottage. This area of Kalkaska County is known as the snow belt. So we get plenty of snow for snowmobiling and skiing. The Blue Bear trail runs right around this area. We have many ski resorts close by. There are many golf courses, wineries, and casinos in the area.

Perfect Cabin for ATV Trails and Relaxation

This is our second stay at this cabin and it won't be our last. We love it for the location off the Kalkaska ATV trail system and the beautiful lake views for morning coffee! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

We were new to the area and wanted something close to the ATV trails. This cabin was perfectly located to go any direction on the trails and have a great place to drink morning coffee and have a nighttime fire! Probably one of the cleanest and most tidy rentals we've ever stayed in. We will definitely rent here again!

We used this as a base for the atv trail system. Great location with plenty of parking for trailer. The cottage was comfortable and unique. Truly a nostalgic place. The boys loved the loft/bunk beds. The cottage was clean and well cared for.

Charming Getaway Cottage

This cottage made for a wonderful weekend stay. My brother and I took the rowboat out for a troll around the lake. We also grilled out and made a nice campfire. It was a short drive from Traverse City which was also a plus. Hoping to return to Blue Lake one day soon!

Lovely june vaca

The cabin was so nice and clean nice swimming area and very well stocked. For me it was like stepping back in time growing up at Blue Lake! It was a wonderful week stay with my daughters son in law and mother and we will be back.
