The host, Valentina, was delightful! She is very responsive and helpful. The apartment is quite comfortable and quiet (it is situated within a courtyard building). It had high ceilings and lots of windows. It is at the end of the Corso Porto Novo nearest the train station (one can walk but with bags a taxi was better for us). Although there was no washing machine, there was a terrific laundromat not far away. It is a bit of a walk to the older part of Verona and we did make use of the cabs on call (one cannot hail a cab in Verona) which were quick to arrive.

We're an 8-minute walk from both the train station and the Verona Arena. Fortunately, taxis can be easily called using the toll-free number or picked up at the station or in front of the Arena. As we said, thank you for your satisfaction; it was a pleasure having you as our guests!
