I have communicated with the host about the issues we encountered. I admit I should have contacted them earlier. Initially I accepted the conditions but eventually after a day or so I couldn't take it anymore without complaining. Below is a copy of the correspondence between the host and I as follows:We had a few issues with the apartment as follows:1) the shower was extremely dirty - I have sent some photos to you and there was a strong smell of sewer which I think was coming from the shower drain.2) there is virtually no storage for our clothes and we had to keep them in our suitcases.3) the TV was extremely difficult to use and old - the remote was very unresponsive. I couldn't watch the World Cup as I the channel that Lorenzo eventually found when we checked in seemed to need a password.Sorry to be so critical but we paid for an expensive apartment and didn't get one.You should have known the shower hadn’t been cleaned properly- I doubt the window sill and walls had been cleaned for months maybe years from the state they were in. The sewage smell was also a big problem- surely you knew about this and should have had the drains cleaned.
