For future guests, we’d like to clarify a few things. Upon arrival, we do have a small late check-in fee, which was clearly communicated beforehand and is standard for late arrivals. Our preferred policy is to meet our guests on arrival, to answer any questions and ensure they settle in. Additionally, this guests persistent objections to sign any of the registration documentation was very disappointing, as it is a legal requirement here in Portugal, and all guests are required to complete this upon check-in. Regarding the guests reluctance to allow access for the midweek cleaning, this is part of the service we offer to ensure the apartment remains in excellent condition during longer stays, and during a 2 week visit offer fresh linen and towels. Our cleaners are trusted professionals who maintain the highest standards of care and respect. The guest also mentioned that the property did not match the description on the booking site.
