This ground floor apartment has a light and airy feel about it. The south facing patio doors slide to allow you to easily access the garden area via the patio.
This makes for easy movement throughout the day and lets you come and go at your leisure.
The apartment itself is well kitted out with all mod cons you need.
32in TV/DVD in lounge with new android TV box to keep you up to date with Corrie when away from home.
The spacious and comfortable lounge combined with the bright and airy feel add to the sense of relaxation.
Kitchen is well kitted out with dishwasher to keep the holiday chores to a minimum.
One double bedroom & one twin bedroom comfortably sleep 4 adults with additional inflatable beds should they be required.Both bedrooms are well finished and new bed linen adds to the level of comfort in the apartment.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over for relaxing soaks in the bath in the evening ,refreshing showers in the morning.
The twin room has an en-suite shower/ toilet.
There is a barbecue outside should you feel the need to eat burnt food, and our children insist that we do this once a week when in Portugal.
The patio is perfect for sitting at the table with sun canopy, and dining whilst enjoying the sea view.
Sun loungers (4) are provided for the garden area.

Absolutely loved staying here. More privacy than other apartments. Very spacious, lovely outdoor area by the pool and the apartment had everything we needed including a good sound system. A wonderful time in Algarve

We spent a lovely time in this apartment. The location is perfect - 7 minutes walk to the beach. The communication with the host was excellent. The village of Luz is very beautiful and was not to crowded (we were there in October). Some of the equipment could be renewed, but this is our only remark. We would definitely come again.

We really enjoyed our time in this lovely apartment. Well appointed, spacious and homely and immaculately clean. Great to have a pool and well supplied re kitchen and appliances . The bathroom was adequate but could do with upgrade to be on par with similar properties Unfortunately wi fi and tv did not work throughout our stay inspite of attempts by owners to resolve with provider. If it hadn’t been for kindness of Keith in the apartment above, we would have been without wi fi which would have been unhelpful for 10 day stay. Tom and Pat the owners always contactable and helpful and friendly Some suggestions to improve would be clearer arrival instructions re hot water and heating and the information pack could be improved to include doctors, services etc. Trevor’s Archer

Excellently-equipped, calm, comfortable, great host

Despite very short notice, we were able to rent the apartment for one week in May 2024. Pat was a great (remote - UK) host, communication was easy, quick and supportive, check-in via a key safe. The house of which the apartment is a part is located aprox. 15 walk from the centre of Praia de Luz, the surroundings are quite calm, only in the morning there might be some more traffic on the adjacent avenue. The apartment is apparently used by the host’s family themselves in a regular basis, so we felt really comfortable and “at home” and there was everything we needed for our stay included a greatly-equipped kitchen. The apartment was very clean, wifi was working well and (for those who bother) :-) there were all British TV channels available. The terrace has privacy, so you can sit there / eat / chill without anyone watching you and enjoy the green surroundings of the garden. It did not bother us that not everything was superbly new / modern, but please consider this is a place where someone actually lives, so it does have some “traces” of normal people and not everything might be “perfect” like in a hotel. ;-) We would definitely recommend this place and also come back to it!

Die Wohnung ist mit viel Küchenzubehör, guten Betten, einem gemütlichen und gepflegtem Ambiente, einem Parkplatz, einer tollen Terasse und einem schönen gepflegten Pool im Garten ausgestattet. A estadia foi excelente, a casa é fantástica e tem tudo o que seria necessário para uma semana em família. A localização é a 10-15 minutos a pé da praia, num bairro tranquilo. A casa está num lote de 4 apartamentos (2 no piso térreo, 2 num primeiro andar) que partilham uma piscina, mas os dois andares de cima estiveram sempre vagos, pelo que a piscina era quase só nossa. Boas zonas ao ar livre, com relva e sombra, uma bela varanda onde se pode fazer as refeições, e um churrasco portátil onde fizemos uma bela churrascada! Recomendamos sem reservas.

Es war alles bestens. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort. Sehr schön der Weitblick zum Meer, die Terrasse, der gepflegte Pool. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Einziges Manko war die Straße, die am Haus entlang führt. Sie war von der Terrasse zwar nicht zu sehen, aber tagsüber vor allem unter Woche zu hören.

The apparttment is full equiped. The best was the terrace, where is great for niceo breakfast or brunch The sofa needs a renewal, and also the Kitchen/oven and refrigerator. The worst was waked up every day 6:45 AM, becaue the room with pool´s view, hasn´t have block out, therefore the light enter throught the curtain. In the another room, ther is a black out over the windows, therefore the people whose sleeped there had not have any problem

Lovely place, good position, fantastic garden!

The house is lovely and nice. Fantastic garden with swimming pool which has direct access from the great living room. Lack of the house may be is the bathroom (just one with no window and no bidet) but all the rest is really ok to enjoy holyday. We moved around changing beach each day and in the afternoon we were enjoying the swimming pool at home.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, toller Blick, wohnlich eingerichtet

Wir haben eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft verlebt. Der wundervolle Blick mit Palmen und Meer hat uns begeistert. Wir waren gemeinsam mit unserem Baby dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir sind allerding nicht gerne auf dem Rasen gewesen weil in ihm blaue Kügelchen waren, wahrscheinlich Chemiedünger - nichts für Babys. Die beiden Außenbereiche sind groß genug, so dass wir dort wunderbar sein konnten. Der Weg zum Strand führt durchs Dorf und wir sind immer so 12 Minuten gelaufen. Die Kommunikation mit Tom war ausgezeichnet und sehr unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet - man merkt dass die Familie auch selbst Zeit dort verbringt. Sehr schön! In den Betten konnten wir gut schlafen, lediglich die Geräusche von der Straße die am Grundstück vorbeiführt haben uns etwas gestört. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

We live in Northern Ireland and love to get to the warm dry climate that Luz have been renting the apartment for over a year and love to see others get enjoyment from this little piece of heaven.

Why they chose this property

We purchased the property when the kids were young so we could get them off to bed and relax on the patio with the sea view.The ground floor apartment was vital for toddlers, but we soon realised the ease of movement was the big bonus with this apartment.

What makes this property unique

The ground floor patio helps you meander from apartment to pool throughout the day and adds to the feeling of easy with which you can get lots of sun, and the ease with which you can get some respite at the fridge when things get too hot.
