Location was good - walkable to attractions + multiple Underground stations. Comfortable beds - we slept well. Nice to have an outdoor balcony space.
The flat itself feels like a hurried flip. There are small gaps in the floorboards, bare light fixtures, and one of the showers ran REALLY hot. I wouldn't buy it - but if you get a good rate, it's a good option for the location. It's London - you aren't going to spend much time here, anyways.

Do not rent this apartment. The listing contained numerous lies and misrepresentations, and it was in violation of fire-safety code. Bare light bulbs, cracked walls, faulty wiring, dirty carpet, and more. The lister did nothing to make things right.

The communication with My City Residences was good but I feel they have little sway with the owner as comments in previous reviews we could see had not been acted upon.On first impression the apartment is large, clean, with 2 big bedrooms and good sized kitchen.However this is what we thought of it.The apartment is souless and has been poorly finished with limited decoration.Electric socket in main room next to window had no power. The scoket behind mirror in main bedroom with en-suite switch is broken. Hallway lights not functioning properly as was unable to turn them off without trying every switch in numerous ways. There are no lamp shades on ceiling roses/lights. Air conditioning units are portable and needed a vent to be hung out of a window which sort of defeats the object. Rug in front room under the coffee table simply needs replacing and was reported in 2024.Sofas have stains and in need of cleaning.Flooring has been not fitted correctly throughout and coming apart again reported in 2024. TV has no free view or standard channels installed. Bed in bedroom with en-suite is not fit for purpose as mattress is below the hard edge and difficult to get in and out of. No extractor fans in bathrooms. Toilet seat does not fit toilet in en-suite bathroom.Minor point but ceiling light out in kitchen. No smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors in Kitchen.I think this could be a great apartment but its been let down badly and would honestly not recommend.
