The property is beautiful. Because there were ants I felt like I needed to clean the dishware and clean out cupboards. I was glad of the dishwasher. Linens, floors, etc were clean when we arrived. Nancy was very responsive to questions and dealing with critters. The home is lovely and the views gorgeous.Canyon road is nearby and if one was able to walk without difficulty would be a pleasant jaunt. There were ample linens and towels. Washer/dryer very good.
Great unit, and great location! Nancy was an excellent host and addressed all of our requests timely. This is a great deal on a three bedroom, and won't last long.
It's a great location and a short drive to the city center. However, it's really more like an apartment than a home. Someone is living below you, and two other units are directly across from the beautiful balcony. The interior has a historic charm and plenty of windows for a good Santa Fe breeze.

People who are more familiar with Santa Fe know that most homes have casitas, either attached or separate. Also, it is very common for homes in the Historic District to have smaller lots and closer neighbors. I am sorry that you were uncomfortable with this.
Fantastic experience at this wonderful house. It's spacious, and it's also in a great location for relatively close access to historical Santa Fe. The house has the historical charm yet is also clean and well updated. There is also a nice yard area for pets and a large deck/balcony to sit and relax. Enjoy the beautiful sites and weather of Santa Fe, and make this your starting point. You won't be disappointed.
We stayed here for 2 months. The house was very comfortable and roomy for 2. The neighborhood was darling and the neighbors up and down Apodaca Hill were very friendly. The location was really perfect and very close to Canyon Road, the Santa Fe river, and the plaza area shopping, hiking, churches, restaurants and museums. We walked up and down Canyon Road pretty much every day.
Lovely rental for longer stay, great communication
Our stay at Nancy's place was wonderful, the property is as-described, in a quiet, friendly and quaint neighborhood close to Canyon Rd and many hiking trails. Nancy was a delight to communicate with and responded very quickly to any questions or issues we had with the property. The property itself was very spacious and comfortable for 2 of us. Some of the furniture/amenities could use updating but overall we were pleased with the property and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Nancy!
It was good. My only issue was mail. I need to have meds forwarded which the post office did but the mail person in Santa Fe had a difficult time finding a place to put packages.
Pleasant Christmas in classic Santa Fe Neighborhood
Casa con vista is just as described. Nestled into the classic hodge podge neighborhoods of Santa Fe, just a few minutes walk from down town and from the mountains.
The host leaves nothing out for a peaceful and pleasant stay. All the amenities are thought of.
Our family of 5 was super comfortable here. We had a wonderful Christmas thanks for the Hosts, neighbors, and neighborhood.
PS: Don’t forget to walk outside and look up...the stars are amazing
We stayed in this house for 6 weeks in the summer, and it was perfect! It’s about one mile from St. John’s College. Our family of 4 + a dog comfortably stayed in the space with plenty of room. Our host Nancy was WONDERFUL to work with - communicative, responsive, and helpful!

What a fantastic place to stay.
It pains me to give such a high review because others will want to stay there and it won't be available when we'd like to stay again. But, we enjoyed it so much that we went ahead and reserved it again for 2 months before writing this review, so, we would be able to secure this property again. You couldn't ask for a better location. It's within walking distance to Canyn Drive and scores of art galleries. The museums are nearby and a very short walk to public transportation. The moutains and skiing is less than 15 miles from your door. As you can see from the photos the property is furnished with wonderful antiques and original works of art. The views are spectacular. The beds are comfortable as is the furnishings. The internet is very fast and Netflix and on Demand is provided. They even have a DVR so you can reecord your favorite shows. Who provides all that? The parking is very secure and right by the door. The neighbors are friendly and so down to earth. Nancy, the property manager, is the absolute best ever. If you have any propery questions, concerns, or fixes, rest assured they will be addressed ASAP. The tap water is so pure, it is the only place we've ever stayed where we could drink directly from the tap without additional purification or flavor enhancement. The property only rents by the month, but the time goes too quickly and that's why we've rented it again for 2 months for the next time. We've only been gone a short while and are still suffering from withdrawal pains. We could easily write more accolades but decided to leave a bit for you to discover on your own. Enjoy!
