Town: Resting within a stone's throw of the delightful fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay is the sweet village of Fylingthorpe. From here hop onto the Cleveland Way when you are beginning to explore and walk up to the wonderful Whitby town centre, where a host of delights await you; visit the eerie Whitby Abbey, said to have inspired Bram Stoker when he wrote Dracula, and then walk down the 199 Steps towards the beach. Enjoy wandering around Whitby Museum, take a Whitby Storyteller Guided Walk, or go to The Endeavour Experience to learn about how sailing was years ago. Fylingthorpe makes for a wonderful base to discover the host of attractions of North Yorkshire.
