About this property

Spacious house close to Rhossili Bay & Wales Coastal Path

Two large bedrooms , one Superking bed and one King sized bed. Large Kitchen, Dining room, Sitting room and conservatory plus a large multi level wrap around garden.

There are two modern bathrooms, both with showers and wash basin and a toilet.

Greystone is very spacious, with large bright rooms all having views over the beautiful Gower countryside.

Downstairs
• Fully fitted kitchen with seating area and table, double electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer / dryer and dishwasher. Fully equipped with everything from bottle opener to saucepans.

• The large spacious L shaped Lounge and dining room hosts a generous rustic large dining table. The Lounge has a fabulous log burning stove, TV and a stereo player, with comfortable sofas and armchairs. Large patio window/door leading to side garden, and access to the conservatory.

• Conservatory a large bright room overlooking the sunken bottom lawn and garden, has comfortable seating with double doors leading out to the garden.

• Bedroom two: (located downstairs)
A large, tastefully decorated light and spacious bedroom with a king bed.

- Large double wardrobe

• Bathroom 1 (downstairs) has a shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

Upstairs:

At the top of the stairs there is a landing giving access to bedroom one and the second Bathroom which hosts a walk in waterfall shower, separate bath, toilet and basin.

Bedroom one:
A large modern comfortable bedroom with a Super King size bed. Great views over the garden and Rhossili downs.

A large modern waterfall shower, separate bath, toilet and basin

All bed linen and towels are provided. Guests should provide their own beach towels. A cot is available but we ask guests to provide their own linen for the cot.

Outside:

The houses has a very large mature garden with trees and plants collected from around the world. There is a patio and BBQ area, with adequate seating and tables for alfresco dining. There are several lawned areas and a secluded sunken garden area for those wanting peace and quiet.

There is parking for two cars on shared the drive. Additional parking can be paid for in the car park opposite.

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our few days at Greystone. The house layout would be perfect for a large family group, and the space felt luxurious for the two of us! The kitchen was really well stocked for any cooking/catering needs, and the garden was beautiful to sit out in. Ann and Ian have created a wonderful environment, and they were also incredibly helpful and welcoming. Thankyou!

Amazing house in perfect location

We used Greystone as a base whilst we walked around the Gower Peninsula for 3 days. The location was excellent for getting to and from our walk start/end points. We used buses (which were very punctual) for a couple of days and the bus stop is right next to the property. We only had one small car but there was plenty of parking, had we needed more.Inside was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped, nothing was amiss that we could tell. The heating/hot water system we felt was a bit quirky, but very good, detailed instructions were available to help us use it correctly and the water was piping hot with good pressure - often a failing with many places I have stayed at before.Ann was a superb host and made us feel very welcome. Although we had no issues during our stay, I feel sure she would have done her very best to resolve any problems we might have had. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area.

Why they chose this property

Ann grew up in Greystone and we converted it to a holiday home so that we could continue to enjoy the Glorious Gower.

What makes this property unique

The house is very spacious with large airy rooms that have views over the gower countryside. It is a ten minute stroll through the valley to Mewslade Bay where you walk past the Wales Coastal Path that leads to the Worms Head and the award winning Rhossili Beach - 5km of golden sand.
