About this property
Lucky 13, Modern Living on the Yorkshire Wolds Way, UK
Welcome to our shiny, sparkly home from home situated in the heart of South Cave village within walking distance to shops, pubs and cafes, various wedding venues and The Wolds Way. We are next door but one to sweet 17 so could potentially accommodate ten people across the two houses if required.
LUCKY 13 is a three bedroom two storey house situated on a quiet new build development in the heart of the village. With its open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with doors leading into a cute little garden, the house is very spacious and airy and can accommodate five people very comfortably. Upstairs we have a master king size bedroom that sleeps two with built in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom comprising of a shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rails. The double bedroom sleeps two and has fitted wardrobes and a single room, sleeping one. There is also a main bathroom with bath and overhead shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail and also a downstairs bathroom with toilet and sink. Both bathrooms have a light up mirror that you can also play your favourite tunes through while you are having a relaxing bath or invigorating shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are also supplied for your convenience. We have TV's in the lounge and in the master bedroom and a selection of games and reading material for both adults and children. Under floor heating downstairs keeps the house cosy in the chillier months accompanied with radiators upstairs. Double doors from the lounge open up onto our outside area which has a patio with table and chairs for outside dining and some additional seating. We also have a large secured shed that can accommodate bikes, prams and golf clubs. We have a Weber Charcoal BBQ with all the utensils that you are welcome to use. (Please supply your own charcoal or replace what you use). Two private off-road parking spaces are solely yours during your stay and extra parking can be found on Bacchus Lane.
We have strived to furnish our Lucky house as if it were our own home with the finest quality hotel bedding, Egyptian cotton bath sheets and towels and high quality blinds and curtains. We have a fully kitted out kitchen with top of the range Bosch appliances: oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a coffee machine with a few pods supplied to wake you up in the mornings. We have enough cutlery, crockery, pots and pans and cookery books to enable you to cook up a storm should you wish.
We can supply a baby package too… travel cot with mattress, bottom sheet and two blankets, highchair, baby bouncer chair, baby bath and changing mat (All available upon request). We also have some games, magazines and books in the TV cabinet.
We also welcome well behaved pets and can supply a pet bed, blankets and food bowls. (Please see our house rules when bringing a pet).
A little bit about our area if you are not local....
We are five mins away from The Little Wold Vineyard, The Manor Rooms and Cave Castle wedding venues and Fifteen minutes away from The Beverley Barn, Riverlands and Bunny Hill Wedding venues.
South Cave is situated just 10 minutes from the Humber Bridge and is nestled in between York, Beverley and Hull with east access to the A63. The village boasts the medieval Cave Castle with its golf course and many eateries. The Fox and Coney Pub serve up excellent food and a variety of cocktails whilst The Bear is more traditionally just a drinking pub. Cave Castle Golf Club also serves food and drinks with a varied menu for both. Drewtons farm shop also offer a fantastic breakfast and lunch time menu. The local convenience store and a variety of other small shops, cafes and services are literally on the doorstep. All of these including the children’s play park, sports centre, tennis courts and golf club are situated five to ten minutes’ walk away from LUCKY 13 and SWEET 17 so we are pretty much centrally based within the village.
We look forward to welcoming you x x
