From the very beginning of my four-week stay, this house felt like a “home away from home.” It was clean and comfortable, and everything was exactly as described, and as it appeared, in the listing. The kitchen is nicely equipped, which was important because I enjoy cooking, and it was great to have the separate office space for my remote work. The back patio is a nice place to relax with some wine, cheese and olives in the late afternoon, and the tiered garden is also a beautiful to sit; the photos in the listing don’t do it justice! Perhaps my favorite little touch was enjoying garden-fresh oranges and lemons. Finally, the hosts’ communications with me before and during my stay were very good. They are very kind and thoughtful people and they clearly take pride in offering guests the best possible experience. I was a bit sad when it check-out came!This property is also located within relatively easy driving distance of many interesting places in central Portugal; it made a good base for my explorations.

This is by far the best “home from home” we have ever rented in this area. The attention to detail & practicality of the setup is superb. Owners are proactive & very communicative so total support is assured during the stay. Very close to the beautiful Cabril Dam area with direct access to IC8 enabling quick travel to local larger towns of Coimbra, Pombal, Tomar & Sertá. Would recommend highly!!!! 😍

The perfect Cosy Place

It's a fantastic place to go with your family, specially with the little ones. The location is perfect, you have access to everything you need ( supermarket, pools, river beaches, restaurants, etc). The house is perfect, you have all what you need to enjoy your stay. Try the olive oil and fresh bread. It's definitely a place to come back in the future. Thanks for everything Gavin and Bianca.
