The House Grandma has to offer a huge range of new sensations. Its location in a small village in rural Portugal will allow you to enjoy all the pleasures combined with country life.

The silence, the beauty of the countryside, communion with nature in its pure state, among others will certainly be the main reasons that will lead you to make us a visit. But apart from these small pleasures, you can still perform footpaths or cycle previously outlined so you can enjoy the most of our beautiful region.

A lovely place to stay, we had a long break there, it’s very quiet, but close enough to the river beaches, beaches, Tomar and other attractions for lovely days out. The hosts are outstanding, I’ve never met such amazing hosts. They bought us bags of the most fabulous and delicious tomatoes and the fluffiest cake ever. Thank you for a beautiful break we will always remember.

This was a lovely house, just right for some time away and peace and quiet. It was very clean and tidy, with all the things we needed for our stay. The welcome we had was really nice, including the basket of local items - a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. We'd come back! Muita obrigada.

Unique and fascinating house, Extremely hospitable host family, Gorgeous area

This stone house, rehabilitated from a century-old barn and home, is incredible. The host family kept the traditional look and maintained the original artistry of the building style, while adding modern conveniences. The surrounding village is quiet and picturesque, a serene escape from a noisy urban environment. We followed the directions, using GPS coordinates for the first time, and found the meeting spot with no problems. The host family was extremely kind and welcoming. Interesting historic and natural sites and excellent restaurants are within a short driving distance. We will never forget our two nights in this beautiful place.

Très belle maison de campagne, très propre et accueillante.Les hôtes, qui habitent à proximité, sont très sympathiques.Sentiers pédestres à partir de la maison mais tout achat de nourriture ou restaurant doivent être fait en voiture.

A casa d’avó está muito bem equipada. Tem mesmo tudo o que é preciso para uma estadia confortável. A aldeia fica muito próxima de Proença-a-Nova e das várias praias da região. O Sr. Virgílio, que nos recebeu contou-nos com detalhe a história daquela casa e transmitiu-nos amor.

Para los que buscan rutas, ríos y vacaciones en familia

La casa es acogedora y preciosa, decorada con mucho gusto, en una pequeña aldea apartada de todo pero con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días tranquilos con la familia. Está ubicada estratégicamente ( a 15 o 20 min) cerca de todas las playas fluviales de la zona, las cuales a cual más bonita y con todos los servicios: chiringuitos, aseos, juegos para los niños. Mis chicos disfrutaron muchísimo de cada entorno. Sólo tuvimos problemas con los colchones de las camas que eran de muelles y muy duros. También, el escuchar cada hora las campanas de la ermita del pueblo, sonaban de noche también, pero acabamos acostumbrándonos. Virgilio un encanto de hombre, nos obsequiaron con una cesta de varios productos de ellos y de la zona, así como un vino tinto riquísimo que elabora él mismo.

Le lieu et la maison étaient on ne peut plus calmes . Le manque de luminosité est dû au fait qu'il s'agit d'une maison ancienne avec des petites fenêtres et des murs épais . Nos hôtes nous ont fait passer une excellente dernière soirée. Je souhaite à tous les locataires de vivre une expérience aussi agréable .

Amazing and beautifully renovated house that still retained a traditional feel but with all modern comforts. It ranks as one of our favourite houses. The house is very clean and the hosts were so hospitable. It was an absolutely enjoyable stay.

Zona muito sossegada mas lindíssima. O silêncio e o céu à noite são inexplicáveis. Não tivemos sorte com o tempo e não pudemos experimentar as praias fluviais. Ainda visitamos duas mas apenas vimos que têm boas condições. O Sr. Virgílio e a D. Fátima são uma simpatia e receberam-nos muito bem. Fizeram-nos sentir em casa. 5 estrelas!

Nous vous recommandons La Casas de Pedra

La maison est très belle, spacieuse, fort bien décorée, équipée, et très bien entretenue. Au calme, idéale pour passer des vacances reposantes et centrale pour rayonner lors de visites du Portugal. L'accueil de Mme et M. Moreira, ainsi que les relations avec eux sont adorables. Ce sont des personnes très gentilles et très accueillantes (Merci pour le panier, les citrons et le gâteau !). Location très très recommandable et recommandée.
