What a lovely cottage on the edge of the village, with a great secure patio for our dog too.

What a lovely cottage on the edge of the village, with a great secure patio for our dog too. The cottage was warm and welcoming and with very thoughtful welcome gifts included! The beds were really comfortable and everything was beautifully clean (and easy to keep clean as well). We had a really relaxing week and can happily recommend Oasis Cottage.

We had a lovely stay, the cottage is very comfortable and quite roomy but never lost the cottage fee

We had a lovely stay, the cottage is very comfortable and quite roomy but never lost the cottage feel. The welcome basket supplied by Max and Georgina was good quality essentials, locally sourced. kitchen is well equipped for what we needed but only used it for breakfast and evening drinks choosing to eat out every night in the many eateries in this part of the world. Local pubs within walking distance advertise food but check before walking as none actually were serving food during our stay Sept 24. Two best meals were II Vello Dor @ the golden fleece in Shaw about 10 minutes drive away and The bunch of Grapes in Bradford on Avon slightly further which was well worth the visit as the food was outstanding although a bit more expensive than we intended but more than worth the extra. Only slight mark against was it is advertised as dog friendly but it wasn't until we arrived that we found out dogs are not allowed upstairs so if that is a deal breaker it is good to know before hand especially if your best friend is used to sleeping in the same room as you.
