Unit was grubby with serious defrrered maintenance. The heavy glass closet doors came off in my hands and sliding screen door to lanai wouldn't work. There were no sheets for the promised sofa bed. Then the frame broke and they gave me a camping pad. I slept on the lumpy smelly sofa for 6 nights and had to constantly ask before it was addressed. THEN THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T MEAN TO POST IT WITH THAT BED AND ALTERED THE LISTING. AA property management company was shady and did not offer anything as compensation for all trouble. VRBO was the only one who cared.

We provided a roll-a-way for the mean time and the sofa bed was delivered the next day. While we cannot undo your experience, we truly value your feedback and are committed to making improvements.
Management was great and responsive. Location is very convenient and pool is awesome. We love Kihei Kai Nani and will stay there again. The rental unit is a little worn, but served its purpose and there were no major problems that affected our stay.

Nice, fairly quiet, clean, reasonably priced. Short walk through parking lot and across the street to the beach, other stores and restaurants. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils and supplies. Pool had plenty of seating, lots of room. Worth the price.

We found the condo to be conveniently located yet quiet and secluded. It was fairly affordable. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans etc. in the kitchen. We liked that there were beach chairs and boogie boards and even snorkelling gear, although we didn’t use it since we brought our own. The pool was great. The whole place had a friendly, laid back atmosphere that we enjoyed.

Ok but overpriced
Good location but needs a good cleaning top to bottom. Unit needs a facelift, furnishings outdated and most other places we stayed had good beach chairs and umbrellas. We had to rent ours. Remote for ceiling fan doesn't work and fuzzies all over the ceilings and tops of drapes. Would not stay here again

Ants and poorly furnished.
When I arrived there were ants in the condo. They could do nothing that day because it was a holiday. They put ant trap’s in and it was 2 days before they sprayed. Still lots of ants. Not sure if they really sprayed or not. The furniture was all old and the tv was tiny. The kitchen was not set up for cooking. I was very disappointed In the condo.

Broke down condo: peeling wood on doors could lead to splinters in hands. Broken beach chairs.
Noisy local, dirty broke down sofa, bathroom light full of dead bugs, ceiling fans and top of refrigerator need a good cleaning, not enough garbage bags or toilet paper. On the positive it has a great garden view with a lovely breeze that did not require any air conditioning.

Excellent support from the property manager. Great location for access to beaches. Super easy arrival. Very clean. Was exactly as described. The only issue we had and it could have just been us was that it was a little challenging to get the space dark at night for sleeping and there was a rooster right next door that woke up super early. Part of island life but a little rough. Also, our two kids slept on the sleeper sofa the first two nights and it was pretty uncomfortable. That said the property manager brought us a brand new inflatable mattress that worked great for the rest of our stay. Furthermore they went out of their way to bring it to us on a Sunday when their office was closed. Overall a great stay.

Location is ideal but needs deep clean and update
Location of this property is ideal, lovely large grassy area off the patio…. however…… deep clean sorely needed.,shower curtain stained/soiled and should be replaced with washable cloth one between each visit. Wood towel bar is old & stained and should be replaced with a metal one so it can be properly disinfected between guests… it would be an amazing unit with a cost of paint and some upgrade/ changes. Although there are several beach chairs , most are in disrepair, no beach umbrella which we had to rent.. property managers were excellent and prompt, check in a breeze. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper,Mr rooster is an early riser😜

I've stayed at this facility numerous times over the last 20+ years. You can walk to the beach every night to watch the sunset. You can snorkel at both ends of the beach directly across the street and see all types of sea life especially turtles as well from this location. There are restaurants nearby within walking distance, a general store and numerous shops as well.
Wailea is 5 minutes south and there are numerous places to snorkel, golf, restaurants and the shops at Wailea also.
The unit has snorkel gear for three, but I bring my own. They have beach chairs (somewhat worn, but they work) There is an umbrella, but it is small. Rent one if you need shade & that's more durable.
I did have some issues with water leakage from one of the upstairs units during my stay but AA Oceanfront Rentals and Sales - Maui Office who manages this unit was on it and did everything they could and then some to make my stay better than it could have been. So expect cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom (sink cabinet) to be replaced, as well as the units above most likely. As will the wall in the bathroom and kitchen that are the common wall between both. As the water leakage is from the cast iron pipes from the 3rd floor unit, as the 2nd floor unit's pipes were replaced. Other than the water leakage issue which was not major for me, but will be for the HOA of Kihei Kai Nani - $$$. My stay was excellent & AA Oceanfront Rentals and Sales - Maui Office was fantastic to deal with throughout.
