The host was great. The apartment was not great. We enjoyed the neighborhood, with lots of bars/restaurants, and we had no issues with noise that some others reported. The apartment was spacious and the beds were fine, the kitchen was spacious and well enough stocked, but it had been converted from a storage space to an apartment and it showed. The shower leaked, there are no room doors, the floor is buckled in the main living room, the loft stairs are somewhat dangerous, the railings would not keep a child from falling, the lights don't all work, and the switches are placed in ways that don't make any sense. This was sufficient for what we needed, overall fine, but I wouldn't recommend for older people or younger children.

Treacherous stairs

Firstly, the stairs in the apartment are dangerous, & I did wind up actually falling down them even though I was being careful. Secondly, the wiring in the apartment is pretty jacked up, & there was literally a ceiling light in one of the bedrooms that was hanging from a wire. Thirdly, the shower is adjoined by two bathrooms & when the water runs, it leaks all over inside one of the bathrooms. Fourthly, the apartment has no doors on any of the bedrooms, but the pictures do depict that. I didnt realize how much of an annoyance that would be as I thought they might be far enough away from each other. So I can’t blame the owner for that in all fairness. Fifthly, the beds and futon/couches were hard as a rock & there are not proper pillows (except two) in the entire place. Two of the bedrooms had long body pillows that had to be shared. Lastly, I’d suggest the owner provide at least coffee cups for his guests instead of having to drink hot coffee with glasses. The area is busy & the neighbors are loud. You hear a lot bc the walls are very thin. On the upside it was a nice neighborhood close to the metro and easy to navigate. The owner was very responsive when the circuit breaker tripped and guided us to a quick fix when we couldn’t reset the breaker. He also gave great instructions on accessing the key. However, I’m afraid I cannot recommend though based on my experience. The lack of doors, the very dangerous stairs and the wiring made our stay less than desirable.

Nous sommes 6 amis qui partons tous les ans à des endroits différents, nous des hommes et vraiment pas compliqués, le logement présente des problèmes ( pas assez de vaisselle, 5 verres pour 6 personnes, pas de cuillère , fuite d’eau dans bac à douche, parquet en mauvais état ( soulevé suites à fuite) électricité dangereuse, par contre emplacement parfait pour métro et commerces.Nous reviendrons à Madrid mais pas dans ce logement

Buena experiencia en general. El alojamiento está bien ubicado y bien comunicado. En la zona hay bastantes bares, supermercados y servicio de metro.La única nota negativa sería la humedad en ciertas zonas del alojamiento y poca limpieza en general

Appartement decevant au vue des photos du descriptif et de la realite. Cafard. Peu propre, une porte des toilettes bloquee tout le sejour, les branchements electriques peu soignes, lits de mauvaise qualite, 5 chaises pour 7, chambre humide., aucuune isolation...mais metro proche....

Loft muito informal, não oferece privacidade, muito barulho da rua

Para 1 noite ou duas é tolerável, mas não voltaria, loft muito informal, não oferece privacidade, poryas e janelas dirwto para anrua, sem isolamento acustico , pouos itensilios de cozinha, banheiro com ducha compartilhada, o ponto positivo é que tinha um bom comercio por perto.
