The absolute best part of this apartment is its unbeatable location. It is situated right in the heart of Lecco, just a 6-minute walk to both the port and the train station. While the space itself is comfortable, several management issues took away from our experience.
The Pros:
Perfect Location: Central and highly convenient for transit and sightseeing.
Comfortable Space: The physical accommodation layout is pleasant and cozy.
The Cons:
Excessive Bureaucracy: The check-in paperwork is unreasonable. Expect numerous emails requiring forms and signatures that feel like a year-long lease.
Unclear Trash Policies: We received aggressive emails about sorting garbage, yet the host provided no instructions in English onsite or proper bins. We chose to eat out entirely to avoid any issues.
Tricky Front Door: The door lock is faulty and takes some practice to open.
Cleanliness Issues: There was a strong pet odor and noticeable pet hair left on the sofa and cushions.
Poor Communication: The host was very slow to respond to our messages and concerns throughout our stay.
