With five reception rooms, four bedrooms, and four shower/bathrooms, the accommodation offers versatility to suit your every need. Yet, the true gem of this property lies within the breathtaking views of the South Downs and the surrounding countryside.
From the expansive lawn to the vegetable patches and greenhouse, every corner invites you to savor the joys of outdoor living. Multiple patio areas, adorned with colorful flowerbed borders, provide ideal settings for al fresco dining or simply soaking in the natural splendor. A pathway leads from an area of parking for several vehicles past an outbuilding, gate to the walled garden and through the cottage style garden to the front door.
On the ground floor, the entrance hall welcomes you with its stone-tiled floor and exposed brick, leading to various rooms including a utility room with a butler sink, a bathroom, a spacious dining room with a central log burner, and a well-equipped kitchen overlooking the walled garden. Adjacent to the dining room is a hallway accessing a cozy day room with vaulted ceilings and French doors opening to a patio area. The living room, boasting a grand fireplace and bay windows offering scenic views, completes this floor.
Moving upstairs, the first floor features a master bedroom with a fireplace, a luxurious bathroom, and another bedroom. On the second floor, there are two more bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower/steam room, all enjoying picturesque views of the walled and cottage-style gardens.
The walled garden is mainly laid to lawn with a vegetable patch and greenhouse. There are several patio areas with planted flowerbeds beside the house all of which take advantage of the views of the South downs and neighbouring countryside.
Equipped with modern amenities such as Cat 6 cabling and Sky HD points in most rooms, the property ensures seamless connectivity for your convenience.
Weekly mid-stay cleanings are mandatory. The reservation cleaning fee includes the first 3 of them and the check-out cleaning. If you're staying longer than a month, you will be required to pay 60 GBP per each week after the 3rd in concept of mid-stay cleaning fees.
Pet Policy
We welcome well-behaved dogs at The Walled Garden, but kindly ask owners to follow these important conditions to help us maintain the charm and comfort of this special property:
Sleeping arrangements: Only the main first-floor bedroom has no fitted carpet; it has a rug which must be rolled up if a dog is staying. Dogs are not permitted in the other three bedrooms or on the stair carpet to the second floor.
Furniture: Dogs are not allowed on any upholstered furniture. If guests wish to allow their dog on a sofa or bed, they must bring their own protector, bedspread, or duvet.
Essentials: Guests must bring their own dog bed or rug for their pet.
Garden etiquette: It goes without saying — all dog waste must be picked up immediately. Our gardener maintains the grounds to a high standard, and dog mess left on the flower beds or in the path of the robot mower is simply unacceptable.

Booking Use
Use of the Hydrotherapy Pool is by arrangement only.
Guests must request session times in advance; they are to be discussed and agreed upon individually.
A contribution toward maintenance, heating, and cleaning costs may be requested. Please note that use of the pool is not included in your rental, and guests do not have automatic access.
Age Guidelines
The pool is waist-height throughout and safely heated, making it suitable for babies and toddlers—provided they wear appropriate sanitary swimwear.
Children and teenagers must be strictly supervised at all times.
This is a quiet, therapeutic space—not suitable for jumping, splashing, or rough play.
Supervision & Conduct
Guests are expected to behave in a calm, respectful manner.
Any form of boisterous or unsafe activity is strictly prohibited to prevent injury or equipment damage.
