We stayed in For 3 nights and loved Porto. I have to thank the people at VRBO for their patience since we had to call several times for the door code that did not work to enter the building. They changed it 6 times. Another comment is that we were surprise to find an apartment, in Porto, without any wine glasses. Seems a little weird since the city is based on wine and Porto industry. The location is perfect since close to every attraction offered in Porto. Exit procedures should always be left since we did not know what needed to be done before we left. We tried to do our best. Thank you for the chance you gave us to learn more about your part of the world. Little thing before I leave, you should make sure that the cooking tools are available. A spatula would have been nice when flipping our eggs.Thank you.

View from the room was beautiful...could have been better stocked. Wine glasses, trash bags, ice trays, etc. Can get loud with neighbors due to the stairwell causing sound to travel. Not a bad place, but not what we were hoping for

MyStay had my creditcard nr to withdraw the rent for the flat. But in addition we were asked to pay a small amount tourist tax seperately via a link, whicg was complicated, because one could hardly realize, that you had to put in your phonenumber(!) a line, that already had a phatasy-number in. So first I failed. Also the software for the online check in was inconvenient, especially how to put in your birthdate, very time consuming. To get the information, how to get into the flat was difficult. It was sent by whatsapp, whilst all former communicatin was via email. Acces was by a numeric code. But frequent trys failed, because the lock was not taking ervery push. Finally we managed. The flat in the house was okay regarding the furniture. It had a nice veranda with e really beautiful view across the Douro river. But in the bathrooms there was a bad smell from the canalisation. Also there was mold in one of the 2 bathrooms. The beds were okay, with one blanket for two persons. The door handles were loose, one almost fell off. The kitchen equipment was poor and not clean. The pan was in terrible condition.One should not have the intention to cook a meal.There were even 2 TVs which we did not use.Our conclusion: we will never again rent by MyStay!

Misleading on All Levels

This location was a disappointment on so many levels, and I will be requesting a refund for my stay. It was so bad, we checked out less than 24 hours of being there- floors were filthy- bathroom had mold- location of the apartment was in an unsafe area, with dilapidated buildings on each side- large spiders on the ceiling- not enough towels provided - dangerous road access to the main street

Clean and quiet apartment with amazing views

Beautiful clean quiet apartment. Absolutely loved the decor and the views! It is a bit neglected though with a number of things requiring tlc. The immediate neighbourhood is quite rundown with lots of abandoned buildings and a sketchy park, but quiet and felt safe. The location is amazing! everything is within walking distance. There is free parking on the street. Check-in and check-out was easy. My pet peeve is their AI agent who kept responding in Portuguese, required lots of prompts, was mostly useless and refused to transfer requests to human agents. However, when we finally got in touch with one of their agents, our issue was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Bon Logement. Prêt du centre de porto

Nous avons logé pendant une semaine au mois de juin.Nous étions quatre adultes . Le logement est très bien pour quatre , il y a un balcon avec vu sur le douro et les ponts. Peu bruyant malgré les ponts de chemin de fer. A l'intérieur on entend rien . Possible de garer gratuitement la voiture dans la rue .proche du centre historique. Tres tres bon contact et très bonne réactivité du correspondant Abritel.

Las vistas son los máximo, pasamos la Nochevieja y pudimos disfrutar de fuegos artificiales a las 12 en punto, muy cómodas las instalaciones dos habitaciones completas con baño y un medio baño en el salón. Necesitamos más cobertores y en seguida el propietario nos las llevo directamente

Tranquille et bien situé

Confortable, belle vue sur le Douro, la ville et les ponts. Verrière intéressante. Dépanneur et snack à côté. Tout se fait très bien à pieds. Quartier tranquille et sécuritaire.

Awesome location in Porto

Apartment is in a great location, and has an awesome view of the river and old town Porto itself. The location is quite and easy to get to On the down side, there's a challenging trip up a 3 floor set of stairs, which can be tough if you have heavy luggage

Great location with a view

All the good things are within a 20 minute walk. The unit is tastefully decorated and clean. Great view! The only cons are that somethings need a little TLC, such the upholstery and bathroom hardware. And, the neighbours sometimes have house parties that go late into the night. However, these are small things. We would definitely stay there again.
