About this property

16th Century water mill, a perfect place for meeting up with friends and family.

*** £100 off term time weekends during Sept & Oct when quoting code Back2sch or using the code on our website Brailsford Water Mill.***

Come and unwind in this 16th Century water mill that was listed in the Doomsday book.

Brailsford Water Mill can sleep 20 guests in 8 bedrooms spread out over 3 floors. The bedrooms range from twin rooms, double rooms and family rooms (double and bunkbeds) Cots are also available if needed.

There are 2 bathrooms, 1 shower rooms and 1 ensuite shower room.

There is a lounge on the middle floor with original mill stone features.

The kitchen is located on the ground floor with a large table and breakfast bar so you can all eat together.

The gardens wrap around the side of the property with an outdoor seating area for BBQs and alfresco dining.

There are 2 mill ponds one to the front and back which are linked together via a mill race that goes down the side of the property.

The gardens are fenced around the ponds, but we still ask that children are supervised at all times when playing and exploring around the gardens.

We are within easy reach of local amenities and for those thrill seekers we are around 25mins away from Alton Towers.
Those with a more adventurous side we are close to Wild park Derbyshire, Carsington Water sports centre and plenty of lovely walks nearby.
