The Star Disc is a memorable place to visit during your stay and Ecclesbourne railway for a steam train ride is within 10 minutes’ walk.If you wish to have a complete break from it all, catering can also be arranged at Agricola House, either with a chef coming to the house and cooking a meal for the guests or a catering company will deliver food for you to the house for a special lunch or a sit-down meal.

Cromford Hill, just outside Wirksworth was known as King of the Mountain and part of the Aviva Tour of Britain in 2015. Carsington Water, a gentler cycling circuit is also nearby.
