About this property
Mountain views in the heart of Brecon Town
Centrally located in Brecon Town, but in a uniquely peaceful position.
Property has stunning views of the Usk river and Brecon Beacons.
It’s 5 mins walk from Brecon town centre, passing the famous and historical Brecon Castle as you go into town.
Here there is a good selection of pubs, shops , cafes, restaurants, and a twice weekly indoor market.
Situated within 2 minutes of the River Usk Promenade, river beach and Gurkha path walks.
Many Beacon walks & cycle routes are on your doorstep.
The space
The house is mid-terraced property: all front facing rooms have uninterrupted views of the River Usk and Brecon Beacons mountain range.
Property is ideally suited for access to many outdoor pursuits.
Hiking, Mountain Biking, photography to mention but a few.
Downstairs:
Main front room with comfortable seating, Free Sat TV, books of local interest for hiking, property and local interest information, WIFI connection info, etc.
Dining room with comfortable seating for 5 persons.
Brand-new fitted kitchen off the dining room giving access to the rear of the property.
Rear of the property
Separate outside toilet, laundry room with washing machine and dryer, large enclosed area with table and seating.
There is locked storage available for bicycles etc at the rear of the property, access to the rear is via a shared passageway to the left of No2 as you face the house.
Upstairs
One large front double bedroom, the beds can be arranged as two single beds or Zip linked as one king size double.
One large back double bedroom, the beds can be arranged as two single beds or Zip linked as one king sized double.
One single bed front bedroom.
The house sleeps up to 5 people.
This comprises of one front double bed / two single beds in the rear bedroom, however these can, if requested, be “zipped” together to form another double, and a small bedroom with one single bed.
All bedrooms have a chest of drawers and hair dryers are provided in the two larger rooms.
Landing cupboard for hanging clothes etc.
I provide complimentary toiletries for guests. All towels and linen are provided and changed once a week for stays over seven days
Guest access
You will have the entire house and services all to yourselves.
So that bicycle's do not need to be stored in the house there is provision for locked storage at the rear of the property, access to the rear is via a shared passageway to the left of No2 as you face the house.
Other things to note
There is a small, but pretty, front terraced garden for outside dining and at the rear of the house a pebbled area for seating / bikes etc.
At the rear of the property is an outside toilet and outhouse containing washing machine, tumble dryer and hanging room for wet hiking and bike gear !!
So that bicycle's etc do not need to be stored in the house there is provision for locked storage at the rear of the property, access to the rear is via a shared passageway to the left of No2 as you face the house.
Unfortunately there is no private parking for cars outside the property, but you can stop to unload then drive a few hundred yards to free street parking or a council "Pay to Park" area, details are given with the key information.
There is a small area by the property suitable for motorcycle parking on request.
Please recycle where possible bins are provided at the rear of the property - thank you
