Puesta Del Sol Top Unit 2BR Condo Private Rooftop+ Steps to Cerritos Surf Beach

Welcome to Paradise! We are in the Puesta del Sol Community aka "Barefoot Luxury". Our second story unit with private rooftop is just steps to the most beautiful and safest swimming and surfing beach on the Baja Pacific side. Amazing fun for the whole family. It is in Phase 1/Front Beach facing units.

Have breakfast on our rooftop deck while taking in the mountain views and assess the waves for your morning surf session! Pack a lunch and head to the beach (or grab lunch at one of the several restaurants within walking distance). Go for a surf, swim or boogie board (lessons and rental available on the beach) then treat yourself to a massage right on the beach from one of the several vendors! Make sure to stay for sunset, or walk back to the complex for a dip in the pool and then head right next door best margarita, fish Tacos & ceviche you have ever had at Barracudas (maybe 20 steps from our unit!). Stay there for dinner or venture around to the other side of our complex to Freesouls Restaurant. We are also just 6km to the famous historic town of Todos Santos, where you can sip margaritas and listen to music at the Hotel California or stroll down the historic square shopping and browsing the amazing galleries. Farm to table restaurants were born here. You literally will walk through organic farms to eat at some of the best restaurants in the Baja!

This is our dream home and we hope to share it with you! the master bedroom has a giant deluxe king size bed (so comfy) and the other bedroom has deluxe full beds. This unit can comfortably sleep 6. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make beautiful meals. We provide purified water. We have a large round leather couch that comfortable sits many with cup holders and electronic device plug in/charging ur roof top deck has a built in BBQ with running water and a mini fridge! Also a hammock, custom L shaped concrete couch, fireplace, dining table with bar stools with sun umbrella (perfect height to see the waves while you dine!)!

We have also installed a Carbon Monoxide detector, not common in Mexico but we wanted to ensure our family, friends and guest are safe in our unit.

Also when you arrive our property manager will meet you to check you in. currently covid protocols are in place (must do temperature check at arrival (bring thermometer) and pic of license plate number required.

Mexico is very safe and this area is very special. You will feel the love when you are here. The highway from the airport takes just under an hour to get here. We can't wait to share this special place with you!

Great location, awesome host

This is a really nice suite in a complex that is literally 2 minutes from a beautiful beach. The host was very responsive to the few minor things that needed to be addressed. Pool is great for when you have had enough of the beach. Overall we had a great time.

Cerritos quick trip

We just spent 5 nights in this amazing unit ! Everything was exactly as advertised, spotlessly clean, great bed, shower is great, very comfortable. The rooftop has awesome views, and the pool area is so nice. The grounds are very well maintained, and it is a short walk to the beach. We would highly recommend staying at Jack & Millies place & plan on coming back here as soon as possible

Everything about this place was great. Walking distance to the beach, there was coolers, umbrellas, chairs for us to use at the beach, and the roof top deck was perfect for morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

Best ever rooftop patio

Lovely place, clean and comfortable , and the beach is beautiful. Our boys had fun on the boogie boards and we enjoyed sipping our coffee on the rooftop patio. Very nice holiday.

The Jewel of the Baja!

Cerritos is so amazing! It's not to be missed. The location of this property is perfect. Steps to the beach and there are 2 restaurants within a block. The property is perfect for small families and the rooftop terrace is so special.

Although there were a few things that needed repairs/maintenance/updates, overall, the unit was very nice and comfortable. Big comfy sofa in living room made it a nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Close enough to walk to several restaurants and the beach. Pretty quiet grounds and the pool was beautiful. I would stay here again.

We absolutely loved it. The rooftop deck was amazing for chill mornings, and for eating dinner. The pool was a big hit for our daughter, and we loved the vibe with the gorgeous landscaping. Cerritos is growing quickly but the beach is vast and there is room for everyone. Thanks for having us!

We had a lovely time at Millie and Jack's. The location and property was amazing. The condo was perfect- clean, well stocked, and the rooftop deck was incredible. Amazing rooftop patio

The patio is the highlight of this property! Amazing views. A great place to read, watch whales, nap, and eat! The complex is clean and quiet. This unit is nice but would agree that it definitely needs some updates and maintenance.

Great rooftop

We so enjoyed our stay at Jack and Millie's place. They were super accommodating even before we booked. The condo is walking distance to the beach and right next door to Free Souls one of our favorite restaurants. There were tons of beach chairs, towels and umbrellas for the beach. Our favorite thing to do was watch the sunsets from the rooftop deck. During the day you could see dozens of whales frolicking in the ocean. The pool area is beautiful and has a lot of trees for shade. A full kitchen with a large refrigerator was so handy and there was plenty of drinking water provided. Can highly recommend it!

Fabulous condo near the beach

We could not have enjoyed our stay at Los Cerritos more. From our initial booking, Millie was very communicative and offered lots of great suggestions. The condo is very comfortable and well-equipped, right down to the umbrella, beach chairs snd bogie boards. The rooftop patio was a favourite spot for sunsets, and the pool area was amazing. The road in is very bumpy so you have take it slow. There is a new well-stocked mercado within walking distance, as are many restaurants. We did trips into Todos Santos for some meals and shopping, turtle hatchling release and hike at Punto Lobos. We’d highly recommend all of them.

Cerritos Vacay

We stayed here for 5 days to enjoy a Cerritos family vacation with our two young boys. The condo was perfect. We really enjoyed the roof top deck for quiet mornings and BBQing dinner. The location was great, easy walking distance to the beach and to great restaurants for lunch and dinner. The livingroom and bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals in. The boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler made for some perfect beach days for us and the kids! The pool area is beautiful - although a bit cold at this time of year (but this didn’t stop the boys from getting a few afternoon swims in). Communication was easy for both check in and for anything we needed throughout our stay. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Baja Bliss in Cerritos

The location of this condo cannot be surpassed, with a view of the ocean from the rooftop and a 2 minute walk to the beach. It is set within a small complex of homes centered around the pool. The grounds are immaculately kept and the essence of the place is one of quiet and peacefulness. The condo is large and roomy and well kept and we spent a great deal of time on the rooftop level. Good little restaurants all around in close proximity or a short drive away. There is a multitude of things to do and we enjoyed ourselves immensely for the 1 month stay we had. Communication with the owner was immediate and very pleasant. For first time visitors to the area or repeat visitors I can definitely give this a 2 thumbs up. Book it, you won't regret it! Thanks very much for everything!

Overpaid

Not happy as the owner charged an additional $10 per day for the days we had 3 adults and 2 kids. She charged this for the whole 20 days not just for the first 10 days the 3rd adult was there. My son-in law stayed only for the first 10 days then returned home to Alaska. I even offered to send a copy of his return flight to prove when he left as she said she could not trust what I said. It was always there would be 3 adults for only the first 10 days. She owes me $100. Please help us recover this money.

this is a fabulous place to get away from it all

the property is very well maintained, quiet, nicely landscaped, serene and convenient. You can walk to several restaurants, to the beach, to the small convenience store, and hike along the beach in either direction for miles. I particularly loved the upstairs outdoor space - I slept out every night with views of the moon and stars and a cool breeze. it was heavenly! The kitchen is good for preparing meals, the huge couch comfie and big for several to watch Netflix. Cerritos Beach is very special. It is also going through huge changes with development. Lots of new condos and buildings going in, but by night fall everything gets quiet again! - The Cerritos Beach Club closed to the public, which is a tremendous loss to the ambience of the whole place. The beach and surf is still awesome and massages on the beach are fabulous. Having the quiet enclave of the pool is also a great way to relax. The owners were so responsive and in touch whenever I had questions. they really care about their place and their guests.

Lovely but (temporarily) loud

We had a LOVELY stay here, but please read the *** below about the surrounding noise due to heavy construction. As to this condominium, it is lovely. Very clean. Two large bedrooms with ceiling fans and a/c. The buildings are made of cement blocks (they all seem to be down there) so this condo stayed very cool despite the blasting sun and heat outside. We barely used the a/c and even had the windows open a fair amount of the time. The condo is well stocked. Everything we needed for smoothie making, breakfast making, cleaning, cooking, anything you can think of. There is a tv, but we didn't use it because we spent our time outside. This condo has private access to the top floor, which has a lounging bed, a bbq, two sofas, a large sun umbrella and a roof top table. From the roof, we watched the sunrise and sunset and also saw a lot of whales! It was gorgeous. The pool is terrific. Really fun pool for kids and adults alike. The shallow area is a large portion of the pool and my kids, who can't yet swim, played happily in the shallow area. The "town" of Cerritos is pretty non existent. Don't choose this location if you want a vacation without a car. We were in our car daily to go to Todos Santos and Pescadero for activities with our kids. The beach in Cerritos is bare-bones. No real vendors and the restaurant right on the beach is pathetic and rude and useless (we were twice told "this is a private restaurant" and we were not allowed to sit down to eat there). The Barracuda restaurant right next to the condo complex was hit-or-miss with open hours (we tried a few times at 5pm and it was closed!). The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. There are no numbers on the buildings, though, so our arrival there was a little dicey until we managed to reach the owner to know which exactly was our building and what the door code was. The buildings are all identical with no identifying markers! *** The condo complex is in the process of building phase 3 so it is LOUD. And the noise is RIGHT outside the condo windows. Like RIGHT outside. Monday through Saturday, starting at 7am, we got to hear a lot of fun banda music but we also were blasted with construction noises and smells, some of which drove us from the condo in search of solvent-free breathing. So consider the NOISE if you want a vacation where you can - you know - hear the waves and think quietly!

Baja beach getaway

My family and I had a great time at this property. Just a quick walk to the beach, and good food. Close to Todos Santos and El Pescadero. We loved it down there. Property was clean and they provided beach chairs, and an umbrella to hang on the beach with. The rooftop is perfect for evening hangs.

Several years ago we came to Baja to celebrate a good friends wedding and years later we came back to celebrate her 50th birthday. The two experiences meant so much to us that we decided to buy our own home here in Cerritos Beach to enjoy with our friends and family.

Our health is very important to us and discovering this area is centered around healthy lifestyle with farm to table restaurants, organic local markets, yoga we fell in love with this place.

What makes this property unique

Cerritos Beach is just steps from our apartment and is one of the safest swimming beach of the Pacific side of the Baja. It stretches for miles and the water is crystal clear. On the north side you can enjoy drinks at the beach club, rent boogie boards, take a surf lesson, or get a massage. Want more privacy? Just stroll down the beach a hundred yards or so and you will most likely be the only ones there! We love spending our evenings taking a swim in our beautiful pool (in the middle resides a 400 plus year old cactus!) then watching the spectacular sunsets from our amazing roof top deck. We grill a little dinner up there and have drinks watching the sun set over the water. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. You may never want to leave!
