We had a lovely stay in this lodge.

We had a lovely stay in this lodge. The location is excellent being quite near to two small towns but with a very rural feel. The lodge itself is beautifully appointed, and after a day or two it became an OCD challenge to spot something the hosts had overlooked. I failed - I nearly thought I'd triumphed looking for a knife sharpening steel, but they'd provided one of those v-shaped thingies you pull the knife through. Every mod con the lodge was of good quality, including an air-fryer; (something I know nothing about). The cleanliness was top notch, and attention to things like recycling and eco-friendly supplies very well thought through.Wifi was blistering quick, which might not be everyone's concern on holiday, but its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.We are still gabbling on about how lovely the trip was, and planning a return - I think the place would feel really cosy in the winter when the weather is less kind (we had the best week of weather this time).
