Family Vacation

Brought our 3 grandkids on our yearly vacation to Chelan Falls. First time to ever do a VRBO. The pool was the highlight of the trip. It was nice no having to leave and go to a lake or somewhere else to play in the water. We did do to the Waterslide park but left early because swimming in a pool by ourselves was so much more fun. We have everything at our fingertips, I timed it from town to the house it was 8 minutes. Walmart definitely super close and the view was spectacular in the morning as the sun rose. Shauna was such a pleasure to work with!

Getting off the Island

We had an awesome time in the sun and pool at this vacation get-away! The house was comfortable and well stocked with little need to ever leave. We did venture up to the lake which was just up the hill on the highway, but relaxing by the pool was the highlight for our group! Our only complaint was that it was HOT and could have used some shade. My suggestion to others would be to bring along a couple of umbrellas. Otherwise, perfect!

40th Birthday Celebration Weekend

8 ladies out for the weekend and we loved the house, pool and hot tub!!! Was definitely main reasons why we picked this house over others, the private pool is amazing!! Pool and hot tub were clean and all set up for us. The house was well stocked with any dishes or such that you’d need to eat with. Bed’s we’re comfy! Bathrooms were nice and clean. The A/C worked amazingly well, but it does get a lot colder downstairs then upstairs at times. But it was manageable because the weekend was so hot!! All communication was amazing and thorough of what was to be expected of us as renters. And we were a little bummed about the 10pm quiet time. But understood and were able to bring it inside or just go out to the town where it was loud and kickin it. We loved that the house was away from town and it was so peaceful in the mornings to enjoy the birds and wildlife. Definitely could see us coming back!

It’s a big house with lots of room and a huge pool, I had a girls weekend here with 6 women total. The owner was great and easy to contact, getting in and out was also easy. I do think this property is better suited to families or quiet groups. The noise rules are very strict because the neighbors next door are unpleasant. Not the owners fault at all but we were out by the pool around 8pm having normal conversation and the neighbor turned on their yard sprinkler so that it would come over the fence to where we were sitting on the lounge chairs. I knew from the description we would need to keep it down but it did put a bit of a damper on the vacation needing to be hyper vigilant of our noise level, else the authorities be called and our vacation ruined. There seemed to be a lot more rules once it got close to the trip and we got the welcome email with more information. Probably a misread on my part but I wasn’t quite prepared. We did have a good time and the kitchen was great, lots of space and a big fridge and freezer was also helpful. Aside from being nervous about the neighbors getting mad at us about noise (aside from the minor sprinkler incident we didn’t have any other interactions) we had a great time. There was a blender so we had daiquiris by the pool in our own metal tumblers and enjoyed the beautiful view.

Perfect Getaway

This property is in a quiet neighborhood-great for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The views from the patio/pool are stunning! We had more than enough room for 5 adults and 1 teen in the house and outdoors. The owner was quick to respond to any questions/concerns (particularly about pool/hot tub operation). Contemplating a return visit-possibly annual!

What a great vacation rental!!

We didn't want to leave because of how much fun the swimming pool was!! Perfect pool for our group of Friends and Family during the hot days. Hot tub was a little tricky as the display menu wasn't lit up so you couldn't see the options & the buttons seemed hard to push down to work. Great layout inside the house. A/C was wonderful to have. The kids loved the downstairs area. Propane tank was empty. Should've kept the spare tank with the BBQ as a quick & easy backup. Owner responded 2 hours later offering to deliver a new tank, but we'd already moved on to plan B. Oh-well! Not a big deal, but it's the little things that can make a big difference. Again, we LOVED this house & pool. Easy-Breezy!! Thanks, Shauna!

Friend vacation

I was sad to pick this house for the pool alone as it’s off of the lake, and then find out the pool was not going to be open until June. There needs to be a bolder statement/less false advertisement with the pool pictures. There’s a very long list of rules and quiet hours start at 10. The houses next to it are insanely close, also came as a surprise. Not a house that’s good for a group of young people sadly. The only big plus was the amount of beds the house has.

Sorry you failed to read the description about the pool not being open until June 1st. It’s the first sentence on the description! Also, the rates you paid reflect the off season. I do not change my listing photos for the seasons to accommodate those who can’t read the property description. It’s common sense that most pools aren’t open year round in Washington state. It also states this is NOT a party house in my description. We do have neighbors as most Chelan vacation rentals due. We are on over a half acre. Also in regards to rules, yes all vacation rentals have rules just like hotels. Since our home has a pool and hot tub we have strict rules to keep our guests safe. It’s a major liability to not have rules. Sadly, it sounds like you don’t like rules and don’t know how to read property descriptions. Your incompetence to read, obey rules and ask questions for clarity shouldn’t result in a bad review of my property which was described correctly.

Good rental for families

Our stay here was fine and we enjoyed the river view and nearby parks. However, there's not much to Chelan falls so you'll need to drive in to Chelan for anything. The property had just about everything we needed--but it feels dated and there were a few annoyances (like no bedside lamps and outlets). Also didn't realize this at the time of booking but the pool wasn't open during our stay (nor is it heated--probably great in the summer, but was not a plus for April).

Hidden Gem near Chelan

So happy with the decision to rent this house for a 50th birthday getaway. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and the outdoor space is as perfect for relaxing. We really could have stayed and not even left to go into Chelan! When we did venture in, it was a short trip to town but so nice we could then leave the crowds behind! Highly recommend for a girls getaway!
