Wonderful family time

The house is spacious, furniture in living room is not very comfortable. There are several sitting areas which is nice to be able to do puzzles or games. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. The path to the lake is very steep, tough for older people as it is slippery with sand, pebbles and leaves. It would be nice if the garage door opened so we could bring in groceries through the garage instead of down the path and up through the living room. The dock is large with a few chairs- the only shade is on the lower portion- we never used the top as it was too hot. Overall we had a great time- a pleasant stay.

Lake House Mini Vacation

The house and lake access were very nice. We enjoyed the open space of the house. Everything was already there, including clean bedrooms and bath, a kitchen with everything needed to cook. I would recommend the lake house to friends and family.

Relaxing by the Lake

My family and I had a wonderful time relaxing and visiting at this wonderful house. I would love to go back sometime for another visit. I would recommend the property to anyone who needs to accommodate a family of 10 or so who want to unwind for a few days.

Family vacation

This property has a lot of potential…but needs work ….. The back bedroom and living room had bugs in it and my kids wouldn’t sleep in the room so they slept in front bedroom downstairs. Also finger print marks were on the doors. In the master bedroom only one light bulb worked above the sink out of 4. The TV remote for the cable did not work in master bedroom so we had no TV, back upstairs bedroom had no cable box… and no batteries in remote. The hood above oven was loose and hanging down 1/2 inch. The walk down to the dock needs to be cleared so there are not so many rocks as my daughter fell.

Great Lake House

Came to celebrate a 50th bday with family and had a great time. We have a boat at Port Royale, and it was a 20 min boat ride and dock was in great shape to house my boat for a few days. Great views, good property, fair price for accommodations, and would gladly stay again.

A bit of a walk to the water, however that is to be expected at the Lake. Suggest you bring your own ATV as there is a gravel path to the dock. House was perfect for us and the owner was flexible with our dates. Highly recommend.

Lakefront Bliss

My husband and I and our 4 adult children and their partners stayed in this gorgeous house with double decker boat dock. The owner was delightful and the house a dream with plenty of room for all! We had other family join us for the day for a small family reunion and had a blast on the lake, lazing on tubes and rafts and a boat ride. We would definitely book this place again!

Heaven is definitely closer when you are in a house by the lake

Beautiful place for a memorable family reunion. Afternoon sunsets from the deck, watch the deer stroll by in the morning, or have an afternoon cocktail by the dock. What a great experience! This place is so comfortable and spacious. The kids (and even the pets) also loved it. Simply awesome.

My earliest and fondest memories are of my adventures living at Lake Lanier. Its where I learned to swim, water ski and many other things. I have lived various places since, have 3-adult children and a grand child. In 2017 I circled back around to the area where I grew up and acquired "Sunset on Lanier". Its my privilege to be able to share this amazing property with you, your friends and family in hopes you gain fond memories as well.

I personally enjoy the lake life and I love the vibrancy of Lake Lanier and its proximity to Atlanta .

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with Sunset on Lanier because of the large, deep lot and panoramic view of the lake. We always have deep water and Young Deer Creek is across from Lake Lanier Islands. Cumming itself has a lot to offer with a multitude of restaurants, grocery stores, boat rental etc...
