Orchard Barns has been brilliantly refurbished and decorated to the highest standard and boasts five bedrooms and four bathrooms, making it perfect for a large family get together or a special occasion. On arrival you’ll be struck by the exterior of the barn. A real country setting courtyard! There is an expansive lawn to the rear, where guests can socialise and watch the kids play whilst preparing a feast on the barbecue. The outside space also has informal seating for gatherings and garden furniture for lazy sunny afternoons. You’ll also discover a large hot tub and plenty of space for the children and fur babies to enjoy.
Inside you’ll be just as delighted. There’s a very cosy living room with a huge deep leather sofas to sink into for a snooze or enjoy a good book and glass of something delicious. There’s a wood burner to make it extra inviting, and the underfloor heating will make sure you’re snug as a bug the whole time. The formal dining room is elegant and offers seating for up to ten, located in the garden room. Just off here is the very spacious, well-equipped kitchen with a grand island and breakfast bar with under the counter stools, ideal for social cooking. Conveniently there’s a ground floor double bedroom with en-suite, perfect for anyone wanting their own private space on the ground floor. The other four stunning bedrooms are all located on the first floors. The master is beautiful with a super kingsize bed and a lovely shower en-suite. There are also two twin rooms where the beds can be set up as either twin beds or super kingsize beds. All the rooms are decorated with luxurious linens, sumptuous bedding, and lovely throws. Something quite special to note too, is that the owner is an artist and has painted individual murals in the bedrooms making it personalised and unique. Back on the ground floor there’s also a fabulous games room with a football table, children’s games, boardgames and a dart board.
There are plenty of lovely local pubs to try in the area if you fancy exploring. You’ll find lots to entertain you in the medieval town of Shrewsbury. There’s a host of fabulous independent shops as well as the River Severn. Shrewsbury offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination. The Old Market Hall is a historic building with a vibrant market, where you can browse a variety of stalls selling everything from local produce to handmade crafts. For adventurers, you’re just a stone’s throw from The Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is fantastic for hikers, offering breathtaking landscapes, rolling hills, and scenic trails.
