About this property
Industry Chic Haven, by Veeve
Evoking a delightfully industrial aesthetic right in the beating heart of central Paris, this one-bedroom apartment is sure to deliver memorable experiences both within its confines and in its immediate surroundings. Venture out to the nearby Le Centre Pompidou and Forum des Halles, or simply explore the bustling streets of the 2nd arrondissement.
LIVING & DINING AREA
Three large windows at the end of the room cast ample light on the vast open-plan living space, accentuating the plethora of colours in the décor, plants and fixtures. The dark original wood floor contrasts neatly with the white walls, soft furnishings and dining table. The trendy sofa sits against a wall full of gorgeous art, with an ornate vintage mirror sitting adjacent. The dining table can be immediately identified as a standout feature: large, sturdy and with an almost plaster-like texture, it’s surrounded by vividly coloured stools and sits next to a set of low shelves full of books and trinkets.
KITCHEN
A couple of steps to the left and you’ll find yourself in the kitchen. This space is a delightful mix of styles: a vintage fridge sets the tone, which then shifts to a more modern and industrial vibe. Steel adorns both the splashback and the cabinets, providing a pristine, commercial tone. A yellow light fitting hangs from above, injecting colour and character.
BEDROOM
The bedroom is large and lovely, centred on a plush queen-sized bed with promises of a restful night’s sleep. The tan-coloured far wall is both highly utilitarian and aesthetically appealing – featuring a wardrobe, cabinets and a set of shelves with books, baubles and boxes galore.
BATHROOM
The en-suite bathroom is a delight to behold: your eyes are immediately drawn to the teal-coloured wall, interplaying perfectly with the geometric tiling. You’ll find everything in here, including a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.
WE LOVE
The industrial-chic atmosphere, captured by the loft-style open living, space, tasteful furniture and incredible art.

Why they chose this property
The 2nd arrondissement may be considered as Paris’ financial district with its impressive stock exchange. Rue Montorgueil is a vibrant area any time of day, thanks to its wide variety of cafés, restaurants and terraces, as well as many fashion houses and shops. Here you could also find many different types of galleries and covered hidden passageways. This would be the perfect area to get lost and discover what makes Paris such an Architectural icon.
